I get repeated crashes (both SP and MP) when trying to play a campaign battle on Kharkov Industrial Zone (KhaInd). Trying the stock single battle that is available works without crashing. I've tried making my own scenario aswell with a single battle on the map with the same battlegroups as in the campaign (German 235. Reg/57. Mot Div versus Soviet 227. Rifle Div), but this worked just fine without crash. It seems it only crashes during campaign/ops mode, and it's done so in atleast two different campaigns so far.
Is this a known problem, and is there a fix?
Edit, I saw Drizzt mentioned this aswell, but that was about Kharkov Suburbs, which is a different map. |

I mainly play CC5, but was considering to reinstall CoI. This however depends on the state of the MMCC3 servers. Is anyone up and functioning? |

Hm, then it sounds like it might be worth trying, it was pretty cheap on steam, 9 euro for the first game, and 19 euro for the sequel. It seems that there have been some pretty heavy patching post release and there's mods for it aswell.
Btw, I read another review that said you can shut off the auto pause thingy |

I'm surprised no one has brought up this subject so far in the alternate fronts forum yet. I just saw this title on steam and got curious. Apparently the intended player group are the hardcore grognards who puts realism above all else, so I immediately thought of CCS Has anyone tried this or any of the sequels? First one is from 2007, and the two sequels are from 2009. What are your opinions? Is it worth buying? |

"Aimed 6ft high and 20 inches to the left" So, at this increadible distance his first shot killed the gunner, second hit the next guy trying to take over the MG, and the third hit the MG disabling it. Crack shot might be an understatement? Sky News report |

Not of much help probably, but I'm playing on Vista OS aswell, and I remember there was alot of fiddling to get CC5 working properly, but it worked out eventually. Now I have the MP-screen and everything. This was so long ago, and I don't want to reset my system and try to figure it out again, so can't give any clues how I did it :S |

Wheeled APCs are needed in Afghanistan due to the great distances, but they are no substitute for tracked ones either. Otherwise, cv9040 ftw |

Even nations outside of Nato has forces in Afghanistan I wish them the best, I used to work with the Polish in RC North back in 2007, before they redeployed their effort south. I believe they are mainly stationed in PRT Gardez, RC East nowadays? |

I get this problem with Gameranger and all cc5 mods when either I or my opponent forgets to completely disable the Hamachi network. You will see your opponent's name in the gameroom written in italic letters when something is wrong for either of you. Also, I always get this problem with gamespy, haven't found a solution that makes it work at all for me...
It's weird if this happens in Hamachi, since then you should both start the game manually and then host/join from ingame |

No banning. Just coralling.

Hmm..? Coralling according to urban dictionary;
Quote:

1. Coralling Much like caroling, but instead of going out and singing horrible Xmas carols, one gets high on P and goes to bash small children, often with a branch. This can result in the child's jaw bone breaking through their skin. I went Coralling last night. Would you like a skull fragment as a souvenir?

Might've missed this when I rtfm, but how does these work? I never manage to get them to fire, regardless if indoors, outdoors, direct line of sight, out of line of sight and at different ranges. I still haven't gotten one off in many battles yet. As it is supposed to be a 28cm rocket, I'm guessing it has to be outdoors though. |
