Over the past couple days I've seen 5 CC2 players on GameRanger. GameRanger now supports CC2 in any screen resolution.
I've been playing a campaign using the TH 3.4 patch.
Just wanted to let people know, if you're interested in CC2 multiplayer you can find some people there. Post if you want any info about it. |

Thank you. I see that every unit has a leader with leader skill of some level, am I right in supposing that:
A unit gains leader bonuses from the best leader who's radius the unit is within?
This would mean if I had a rifle squad with a good leader, he could give the leader bonus to another unit close by. So command units don't get an inherent bonus, they just are more likely to have good leaders in them. |

It is a GJS campaign, not vanilla. I doubt the crashing is because of GJS though, because we've tried to play vanilla campaigns before and always crashed a lot. We did successfully patch to 5.01.

Gah, it's back to crashing after roughly every other battle. Can't play like this. Wish I knew how people got around it or what I was doing wrong... |

Here are some questions.
Does it only affect morale?
Also does it matter which of the three platoons the units are in, or can any command unit help any regular unit?
Do multiple command units stack their bonus, or does only the best command unit in range help?
Is there a way to know which units are command units always, or do you have to assume based on name?
Do command tanks help only tanks, or are command tanks just like any other command unit for this purpose? |

I play with my brother, and we play 10 minute chunks and then if either side wants a truce the other must also truce. This way we only lose 10 minutes if it does crash.
It happened once last night (out of 4 games), where he had clicked truce some time before, and right when I clicked it his game crashed "Encountered a problem and needs to close". He was the host. I think all of our crashes have been on the host's end.
After his game crashed, mine waiting a few minutes and then said connection lost, and went back to menu. This time, oddly, the game skipped the rest of that turn on the strategic map automatically. It also acted as though our battle had not been fought. When we launched again, the savegame was next turn, several unfought battles had been skipped from last turn. |

So do people just live with it crashing at the end of the battle every few battles, and refighting the same thing again?
I've tried to play campaigns with my brother many times but it is extremely frustrating to play a battle and then have it crash right at the end without saving. If this game was stable it would be an excellent game. |

There is an annoying problem though in our multiplayer game. Often when the battle ends, my game crashes, before getting to the victory screen. It's quite annoying, cause then we have to play the battle over again. Does anyone else know why this might be?
Also, is there a legal no-cd patch so we can start playing again without having to switch the cd around between our computers every battle? |

I started a grand campaign in CC5, and after the first round, I noticed the AI(germans) don't fill the empty slots in their combat groups for battle, so while my groups are always fighting at full strength, theirs have empty slots, even though there are still units available in their group. Why is this? And is there any way to fix it? |
