Your name rings a bell to me, I think.  Strange, I just came on here for the first time in years today myself.

Wasn't I an RD once?!?!?

If I was, and I can't remember, I should be shot.  And if I wasn't then death to you all!

Hello everyone.  It feels kind of nice to be back on here, really good to see the community is still alive.

So, I've not played any CC games for about 4 years (perhaps one or two of you may remember me, or more likely, remember beating me in multiplayer) but recently I've had this itch that needs scratching.
My problem is that I can't decide which game to buy to satisfy this itch.  I will be mainly playing single player this time around and after seeing videos of the AI in GtC and PitF I'm a little disappointed to see that the AI hasn't improved at all in, well, forever.

So my question is this;  Which game, (and with which mod,) of all the CC games, can I get the best single player experience from?

I always loved CC even when fighting simple AI, sometimes just sitting and listening to the ambient sounds and occasional shot from a hedgerow was kind of peaceful, so I'm looking forward to experiencing it again.  But before I decide which game(s) to purchase I'd really love some opinions on this.

Thanks.

Well I found the ending brilliant.  When asked why he acts the way he does he has no answers, and then signs up for another tour leaving his wife and kid at home.  "360 days left" etc.  Great way to end it.

Hi war movie buffs...

"BEAST OF WAR" a story about a Russian tank crew in lost in Afganistan pursued by Mujahadin (GREAT Movie)

This is a very good shout.  A gripping film.  I just wanted to second this shout and also just make note, the English and American title for this is simply "The Beast", so if you plan on looking into it (it's worth doing so) be aware of that fact.   Mr. Green

You're doing it wrong... posting films that are so obscure only 20 people in the entire world have seen them, half of which are your family, hahah.  Definitely not obvious.

You're meant to keep them nice and easy, like this;

Haha Wilbur Smith is brilliant, mindless action tales that you just can't put down.  I think that may have been the first one I read too, years ago, and now I own them all!  Enjoy it mate.

No clue on either of those... I thought the first could be "The Beast of War" for a moment, but they are not very Afghan looking, more Asian.

Tippi likes to play as the allies against me... must be because he loves seeing the Germans win all the time.

Surprised I got that one myself... the lack of snow or cable cars had me wondering.

Tricky one... modern photo, but nothing much has changed since, especially since filming.

*Sigh*

Like I said, nevermind.  Sarcasm and irony is lost on you.  I was not calling you a fuckwit... I was refering to the, as I put it earlier, "ignorant, small minded fuckwits."

I also do not consider you a Nazi, again, sarcasm.

What?  Make sense please.

Oh nevermind, just forget it, it's like talking to someone with only half a brain cell.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
