Thanks Dj Smile We're talking of a German shephard yes, type workdog as we call it. (a.k.a. police dog). She's one hell of a fanatic, she's light and fast and this weekend my dad is going to try for her last exam/certificate. (VH 3)
At home she's my best buddy though Smile

Then on topic:
It is possible i can get a (short) answer?
Mooxe? Do you know whether the install and uninstal txt files have been updated yet for version 1.1 so the new campaigns and battles will appear?

Thnx and hope to see some more of u in GameSpy these days Wink

Hey guys! (yes, i'm still alive...)
Hereby also my congrats on another great CCV mod!!!

I just dlded the 1.1 patch but shortly after seeing the files realised that i need an updated install and uninstal txt file in order to be able to play the new battles and campaigns....cause without telling the install.txt file to put the new files in their respective directories in cc5...it won't have much effect in the game Wink

My apologies when this has been asked already yet...but didn't feel much like reading all 7 pages of comments & q's in this forum subject...

Thanks in advance,
Koenuppa

You can extract the contents of the plugin (.pln) files with winzip or winrar so you'll have the seperate files.

I have seen the same problem on p4 pc's with 17"screens. Try setting the resolution to 1280x1024 and scroll speed to slow in cc5 options.
Otherwise....buy a 19"screen or play on an older pc Very Happy

1280x1024 is indeed a screen resolution i like better cause i get a better overview. Besides that, the graphics look better IMO at higher resolution.
Especially playing on a 17" TFT or a 19" CRT screen, 1280x1024 is the best i think.

It's not my mod nor my site mooxe, it's C.G.E.M's...(whoever that may be.. Confused ) I just made a plugin of the sound.sfx, weapons.abd and added the necessairy files.
I scrolled thorugh my cc sites favourites on my old pc and came acros that site. Didn't know the guy was still active in (sound) modding. The new sounds are quite cool, u should try. Could be a good inspiration for new GJS4.4 sounds Cool

The RegXtra mod is quite fun actually, thnx Lord4War for making it! (with your .L4W files, heheh, good one Wink )

On his site (http://koti.mbnet.fi/cc5/index.shtml) i came acros his new version of the sound mod. I've made a plugin of it and i'm using it now as a sub mod of the RegXtra 3.0 mod. It can be plugged in after RegXtra 3.0 (and sub mods) are installed.
There's quite some cool sounds in it Smile

I could upload the install, uninstal and readme txt files if anyone is interested.

Oops, didn't know that. Embarassed
I was interested in what the guy wanted to ask but since i can't understand most it's kinda hard...Deutsch won't be necessairy, neither will Dutch be i think. It's good that people from different nations can communicate here but it's hard for most non-french speakers to understand french.

Thnx for informing me zapp Smile

If the config manager program still lists the mod as installed:
Just open the config file in the System folder of the config manager with notepad and cut RSR 1.0.pln from the installed list and paste in the uninstalled list...Save and exit and now you should be able to install mods again...Zappi's instructions seem unlogical to me...

well it was how i did to unistall RSR and get back the CCv regular ... it worked for me, but i hope the pln will be fixed soon and will able us to load and unload the mod easily

Zappio, no offense meant there mate. I'm just trying to find the best solution for the problem and i haven't needed to do 9 steps including deleting everything and reïnstalling. It's a small problem that lays in the install and/or uninstall text files...If you have the same error message when uninstalling, u can just edit the config text file and your done...Saves u 8 other steps and alot of work.

Mooxe, i can install without errors after having deleted the lines, but at uninstalling it gives me an error, the error doesn't state that some files can't be moved, but it says that the seperations between lines in the uninstal.txt should be Tabs, not Spaces. I checked all of them, and they are all Tabs, so i don't understand...Maybe my config manager was just being weird. Anyways, that can be fixed like i said in the previous post.
I don't know whether the uninstal.txt is incorrect...if u guys say u don't have this problem then maybe it's my cfg manager..???
Maybe u can send me your uninstal.txt?

I don't get it: i checked the uninstal.txt file and it seems ok. When i try uninstalling it says: reminder: seperate should be tab not space....But all seperators are tabs....right?

PostForum: Close Combat 5: Invasion Normandy   Posted: Tue Jan 25, 2005 3:43 pm   Subject: Error in RSR 1.0 Install.txt (fixed)
There's either an error in the install.txt file, caused by 2 missing files or there are 2 missing files in the RSR1.0 PLN file. Anyway, this caused my install to fail and mess up my Invasion Normandy folder:

copy $THIS\Soviet Superiority $CC\Data\Campaign\SovietSuperiority
copy $THIS\NATO Superiority $CC\Data\Campaign\NATO Superiority

These two lines in the bottom of the install.txt file cause the problem cause the 2 campaign files referred to do not excist in the PLN file.

Remove these lines in install.txt and it should install correctly.

Am i correct in stating this or do i just have a corrupted PLN file?

PostForum: Close Combat 5: Invasion Normandy   Posted: Fri Sep 17, 2004 7:30 pm   Subject: CC5 A bridge to FAr mod

Poli, this is because the ABTF mod is a conversion from cc2 to cc5...meaning also the cc2 battle briefings have been directely copied. In cc5 it's not possible to blow up bridges and this can't be changed in mods i think.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
