I have previously played CCV and loved it, but never got a chance at multiplayer. I'm waiting for my Combat Commander: Europe to arrive and am looking for some fun, tactical action. However, I'm wondering whether I should get WaR, TLD or neither. Which one has a greater player base? What about Vista support? Are they both fully playable on it?
I've also heard rumours of a new version coming out. What are the chances of it being built on a fresh engine and does anyone know of a release date for it?
I hope that provides enough information of what I'm looking for.
Edit: Also, is it possible to play over a LAN with only one cd-key?
