IT WORKS. Thanks Wruff for help. After router setup it was no problem. Pitty is just that TCP and UDP method doesn't work. But I think when more people will get Vista, at least we will see one another on GS more often:)

Ok. I posted this to our PZT forum but I would share my bad experience about VISTA once again with everybody of CC community. I bought brand new CC5. I must confess I've been using piracy copy because I couldn't buy it in Slovakia. I got CC4 and CC5 yesterday. I installed game and registered it. Then I've started with compatibility action. W95 nothing. W98 nothing. XP yes. When game (I must run It like admin and I must didable desktop composition) started after 45 second :zzz ,nevermind important is that game starts. I disabled videos, so no videos. Singel player without problems. 1280x960 resolution is nice and big ( I have widescreen so that's why 960 height only) You don't need to scroll very much so fast scrolling is no so big issue for me.
ALL THE TROUBLE IS MULTIPLYER Mad .When I hit multiplayer button THERE ARE NO BUTTONS. NO CONNECTION METHOD BUTTONS. NO SERVER SETUP BUTTON. JUST BACKROUND. I am posting screenshot.

So maybe it is Direct-X. Maybe Vista. I though it is my INTEL DUAL CORE Processor. That I will need to switch off one. But when you set-up compatibility to XP, OS itself switched off one of the processors. I saw it in Tast manager - Processes - CC5 - Affinity (only CPU0 is busy with game). Razz

So i think my only possibility is to make dual OS. To install two OS. First Vista and then XP. Does anybody know how to do it ? Do I need first to get dual OS program and then uninstall Vista, run dual OS program, then install Vista and afterwards XP ? Does anybody have an idea how to do it ???? Confused

THANK YOU VERY MUCH Smile)

Propably i will reinstall cc5. But it is in all mods. I am absolutely saaaad about this. Still brother has XP. So I will try at least router on it.

ANZAC_Tack. I got same problems. Drivers are ok. Just that confirm message. I heard you can switch off that protection. But, i have problem with a sound driver. I can hear a sound but OS has a problem with it. Also...THE WORST THING AFTER ALL MY EFFORT FOR CC IS THAT I DON'T HAVE CONNECTION METHOD IN MULTIPLAYER MENU !!!!!!. IT's GOOOOONE. There is only space for IP adress and nothing. No buttons !! I am going to kill somebody. I don't need clock...I don't need it. I just like only one thing. Button switch between windows when you press it, all your processes are shaped to kind of cascade windows in the middle of desktop. Rest is holy shit. Evil or Very Mad

Hello, I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit and original game is fine. Got also widescreen- 20" screen. Really nice. I think when you will use keyboard for scrolling (arrows) it can be not too bad, but maybe it is bullshit idea. After moding to BOB i have a problem with "unable open file for streaming". Need to check that CSO message. Don't know where but I will try. I am pretty mad about this new system. Really nothing new ..just down yout performance and asking 2 times to allow your action and looking how to take more money from you. Need also solve it because I will surelly install here also something else. Maybe XP. Evil or Very Mad

Sad Guys ...just this week got finnaly computer from Dell. Hmm..I didn't have any other possibility (Dell didn't offer) to change from Vista OS. I felt that it could be a problem with that new multimedial ..advertising..taking money from pocket...f...g...OS. But I didn't know that dual core could be a problem. I got 1.89 dual core 6300 Intel procesor. I though after so long time I couldn't play my favourite game it will be great to meet you again on battlefield. Looks that it will be problem. I went through some problems during instalation couz I still have (unfortunatelly) piracy copy of the game couz I couldn't buy it (I am going to do it through e-bay). After instalation (I copied whole game on the hardisk and installed from hardisk after changing compatibility of auto-run and setup .exe files) I went through patching and then CFGV13. Config manager was not able to create Packages folder because of restriction of this fucking OS (sorry for language but when you hit 300000 times button CONTINUE to allow creating pure folders AND THEN AGAIN SYSTEM ASK YOU TO PERMIT ACTION YOU PERMITED 0.0001 sec. ago you are driving crazy and you have mood to send Bill Gates some mailbomb or something) ..so I remembered folders for config manager ..I created them alone. I installed game and I got message UNABLE TO OPEN FILE FOR STREAMING....never get this error shit before ..but I swear will go also through it ...but to swith of one of the procesor ???? I never though it will be so bad. That's all from me now. Hope I will not hit this computer.. Mad Mad Mad
