Hello mates, interesting to see that a lot of people read my post but nobody answered.

Many European players have lag issue with GameRanger and are not able to play CC, personally I restarted to use Hamachi and it works properly.

I suggest this solution for all the players at the moment it is the unique way to play online CC.

Dear mates, I have a problem with lag playing Close Combat games via GameRanger, this issue started more or less one month ago, during this time a lot of updates of the software were installed.
I don't know if there were some technical effects due to the updates, at the end of the story, I'm not anymore able to play online via GameRanger.
This issue is common with other players and we are not able to fix it.

Can anyone suggest something?

For my point of view, the real game is versus human opponent, playing a game vs AI is not fun at all.

This game is an evolution of the previous series, (I don't list what is changed, everybody knows it), I agree with you that the price is high nevertheless I know that is a niche game, in other words Slitherine and Matrix develop and produce something for a small market.
That means high cost for the manufacturer and high price for the end user.

I appreciate their efforts otherwise the best game dedicated to strategic and tactic WW II fighting wouldn't be anymore on the market.

About the pathfinding I'm pretty sure that they will fix it as done for the previous games.

I think positive.

Hello mates, this evening I played my first multiplayers game vs Pzt_Crackwise.

The lobby is integrated and it works well, we didn't have any problem to set up the connection and we didn't have firewall or router issues.
We had just some lag problem probably due to Crackwise's connection.

In the lobby there is public chat room and a match making forum useful tools for finding players and to discuss about the game.

Concerning the game, the first impression is positive but I don't want to write any comment, it is too early, I played just 1 battle.

Last but not the least, this game needs a modern computer the cooling fan of my lap top worked a lot during the battle!

Ciao, la campagna TLD potrebbe interessarmi, anch'io sono disponibile alla sera generalmente dopo le 21.00.

TLD funziona bene con il sistema IP, l'unico aspetto è che io ho Fastweb come internet provider quindi ti chiederei di fare tu l'host altrimenti mi gioco tutte le ore gratuite a disposizione con IP pubblico.

I know that you played just few battles online, at the beginning of the campaign germans have a great force to hit americans.
You will see that the situation will be different during the campaign.
It is to early to make negative considerations about the game.

I think the game is historical, and also the weapons reflect the history.
Why to reduce the armour of the Panther? That is not historical.

I played many battles online, and often I won tanks duels with Panthers but also I had bad experience, 3 Panthers lost vs just 1 Sherman.
Of course Panther is the best, but in this game german is always the attacker and american can ambush him easily.
If you hold americans, don't try to fight the battle like frontal clash otherwise you lose 100%, change your tactic ....

You will enjoy our GC, I'm sure that you will change opinion, the game is balanced.

Hi to everybody,

all the people knows very well, in every competition the skills are not enough, the fortune is necessary to win.
The most important aspect in this tournament is the balanced level of the teams for this reason in every match there isn't a winner already written.

Italy played the second time without Materazzi, the team was strong enough to arrive at the end of the match and the fate awarded us with a penalty.

This is not a fault, many times in the past we were not lucky ( I remember previous World and European Cup).

Honor to Australia but it is the life, you will do better next time.
