I hope whoever did this is satisfied that the testers for this have been "temporarily" suspended from this project. Im afraid that just because I MAY have been part of this( I didnt even get back to testing after a 5+plus month abscence due to deployment)I may be denied the opportunity to participate in any upcoming testing even though I got access until AFTER the leak had happened....

I hope you are pleased...F*&^%#g loser....

Regardless of religion this person was arrested as a war criminal for genocide. No matter how you slice it he was wrong.

Just thinking that another consequence of this is likely to be that people in the community will likely not get invited to participate in the future releases...including the new engine. The bastard that leaked this has painted the entire community as people of low character and un-trustworthy. The developers will likely never take the chance of involving community members again.

Absolutely right....I do this for the joy of being part of the team...not money...not recognition...nothing else....

You know who you are...come clean so the rest of us to get back to testing so we can get a quality product to the community.

So, you're going to tell me that it won't be like CC5 and won't have a strategic minigame, but a campaign where one commands a single platoon/company sized unit? That it will have mountable vehicles, map editor with triggers and other enhancements to the tactical gameplay?

How about the cheerleader quitting treating his taste as an objective truth?

Where in my comment was ANYTHING stated about gameplay, style, anything other than to be OBJECTIVE until YOU can make a SUBJECTIVE opinion.....

Can I make a OBJECTIVE opinion? No as having been part of the team.

COULD I make a SUBJECTIVE opinion? Yes but I wont because my opinions are mine and I havent been released from my NDA so I dont feel comfortable discussing it...even though it seems to be the current topic of choice.

All I ask is wait and see.....

If you like it great...If not then mod the shit outta it or develop your own game.....

That's why I hate the CC community.
I guess you are to busy drooling over your beloved strategy minigame to notice that the evolution of the core of CC - the actual tactical game stopped at the level of CC3.

My only request is that people quit ragging on the game til they have played it.

Sorry Stalky....was talking about a battery of mortars.

Now I have heard that some artillery peices can get off 3 rounds and have them arrive simultaneously by using elevation and various powder charges. Of course that is calculated by computer.

85 til last year with a couple of breaks here and there.
Just remember....not worthless just useless lol.

Got a bunch of buddies that are 11C and they tell me its a blast to watch a bunch of 4.2s just totally smoke an area.....kinda hard to beat a full house with a pair of deuces.

AoS fire(Area of Supression) is paramount when facing a larger force ar once the main axis of attack if defined.
1) Force attrition.
2)Supression.
3) Allows for redisposition of forces to meet the enemy.

Never have to blanket an area in RL as the effects of incoming rounds have a definitive effect an morale and movement.

When mortar teams fire the rounds they try to keep them over layered so that the blast radius is larger and more of a area is covered.

The statistics say the first round is the killer, followed by no 2, there after its pretty useless as ppl are in cover, that why the new how’s fires with diff LG's in a way that make some 4 round from each barrel hit at the same aria at the same time (morts cant do that). So aria fire isn’t used to kill first hand, rather to suppress..

Actually it is possible to do a TOT mission (Time On Target) as well with mortars, multiple rounds impacting simultaneously can and is devastating....
