Hey guys,

I was wondering how this number is calculated. I have been looking around on the internet but it only tells me the usual not how its calculated. What im wondering about is the following. Heavy vehicle's life fe the Pzh2000 have a class of 60 while their actual combat weight is 55.5 tons...

Suggestions?

Cheers Buck

Created by the British before WW2 and since then also used by the allies (nowadays NATO) the number on the vehicle is the bridge classification, in order to help bridge sentries determine the weight of vehicles wanting to cross so to avoid bridge failure due to overloading.
Vehicle operators may drive across without restrictions if their vehicles' class numbers are less than or equal to the bridge class number.
Now if you want to calculate your own vehicle :

Well it's an amphibian, or is it not possible to cross the waterways in CC5, I remeber a mod were amphibian vehicles could cross waterways.

Anyway, dare I ask, any news on the ETA of this mod ???

Hey Sa2,

We are currently in the phase of fine tunig. Testing battle's and i expect to start OP's and maybe a Campaign in the following weeks. Also i'm having contact with someone concerning vehicle graphs wich might be updated.

Very nice indeed, question regarding the vehicles, you've mentioned that it would be mainly a infantry mod with a few Sherman's and M10's. Will there be LVT2/4's 'buffalo's' and M29 'weasels' , a they supported both the landings and the inland battles....

Sam.

I think you have to add it to a BGs Forcepool with the modding tools, if it doesn't exist in a one

I'm not really sure what you mean, could you elaborate how this would work??

I've read on the GJS site the following :

Quote:
7) Added the A34 Comet. Just for fun. Not available in the Grand Campaign.

From : http://www.wargamer.com/Hosted/CloseCombatGJS/GJSv441.htm

Can anyone tell me were I could find this tank, which unit/date available ??

Untill now, I've now luck in finding this type in the games I've played.

Just curious, but will the recce regiments ,of the armoured divisions, have the A30 Challenger iso the Sherman Vc Firefly ??

I know it 'just a game' but it would be nice if they would be included. (unlike the original CC2 game)

Grz,

Sam.
