Confirming that WoT is very fun game, I'd recommend everyone to sign up for closed beta and try it out. Even if you don't get invitation there will be open beta very soon, and release is in Q4 2010.

So today I've stumbled upon this vid:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzpUVtVUBTI

... and it was like - WOW! Shocked

Anyone playing this game? Is it worth monthly sub?

(I am in search for some "serious" online game... EVE being the first on my list but tbh this one is looking even more interesting to me).

So basically you are training skills offline, right? No need to grind experience points for levels and such? Because it's the main reason I hate MMOs, tbh.

Also you said you are using missiles, cool. Perhaps there are also guns, artillery...?

Long time ago my old clan friends and me were trying to find a way to setup and host our own `closed` MMCCIII campaign (for our gang only), but we understood that it wasn`t possible to do for number of reasons. So... we gave up Sad

But today I found this on your news page: "We should be publishing a guide on how to create your own MMCC3 campaign which upon completion can be hosted online for everyone to play". Wow! That might be the thing we were looking for. Any ETA?

Thank you for your response Talorgan! Unfortunately, this zipped .doc file is totally unreadable, I guess it was saved using some strange encoding standard, or maybe just corrupted. Office XP Import converter is automatically launched when I try to open the file; I tried to pick few common encoding options but in every case all I get is only junk like:

ƒã0›™ f™Ý½w¡ûýKÇ®(vº§wß~ú—ÊQI*a©Ï7ÿS§Â=Âà¿pp ‰MVN™Y•Y¹Y˜M#±X 0&‰Íð eÐñKÕy åp‹‰Õø}á &Þ¢Qؤp

Got any clue what`s the problem?

"Nether Earth"... that`s the name of my first computer (Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K) played strategy game. It was some kind of futuristic war between giant robots. First you had to assemble them, choosing armor, weapons, engine etc, then send to battle. Then came "Tobruk" (no need to describe it, right?). Year - 1985, I think

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
