Turns out the reason those subfolders weren't there was because I'd done the Typical installation instead of the Full one.
I've followed the other instructions and the mod is now working well, except that I wasn't able to do the uniform colours because I can't find Nembo's patch. When I unzipped the whole mod, I just got an excel file (SoldierColPatch(Mac&PC)).
unzip the CC2Afrika-SoldierColorPatch.zip, unzip CC2AfrikaSoldierColorPat(PC.zip and run Nembo's "CC2AfrikaSoldierColorPatch.exe" to patch the "CC2.exe" and "cc2rsrc.dll",
I'm interested in some of these mods too, and I followed your instructions as far as duplicating the ABTF folder, but there is no 'Graphics/maps' subfolder (see pic). This might be because I'm using XP instead of W98.
If that's the case, do you think it's only possible to use these mods if we set up a dual boot with W98/XP? I already have XP/W7 dual boot and it would take a bit of research to set up a 3-way OS option, - which I'd rather avoid.
In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
