Howdy
I have a couple of questions regarding promotions in CCV. Is it possible to get promotions in CCV and if that is true, can you theoreticly start out as a private and end you career as a major?
|
Hi,
The promotion was in CC3. He's impossible in CC5.
I make think, why the makers of the game forgot about the corporal rank (not exist feldfebel) - there is the only older/high corporal (e.g. oberfeldfebel). Btw: why is sometimes two sergeants in the team? This is idiotism. |

No problems.
I will e-mail you the CC5.exe file when I get home from work.

Hey, guys? And what with this change? I recently once again took mod and there are incorrect ranks continually. I still see fallschirmjager, and not wehrmacht. |

What is you're opinion on this ? Is it so that the Russian squads are a-historical strong ( to much experience, morale) or is it a designers choice to make them stronger ? Are they better equipped ? (besides the tanks and arty)

Don't forget that the squads of NKWD waited behind Russian squads, on second bank of the Volga. This was motivating very much. |

In a new version I would like to see:
- Medics attached to command squads treating wounded soldiers.

Yes, good idea!

- Special units: Rangers, forward observers, RM, Hitler Jugend etc.

Hmm... I'm not sure... but forward observers is necessary.

- Based on CC3, refit a unit with new men. Too many times I've seen great squads be disbanded because they lost 2-3 men.
- Transportation, let men rid with tanks or halftracks around the map. Faster gameplay.
- You command only a single regiment, lets you alternate between which battalion/company that fights that battle while other rests behind the front line ---> reinforcements while playing.

And little from me: the connection the mechanic or system (limit of ammunition, individual soldiers behaviours etc.) from Close Combat 5 and graphic arts from Company of Heroes. I think that it would be good.

P.S. I apologize for my poor English . |
