Jagdpanthers where also fighting around Königsberg until early may '45. |

I'm playing at the hardest difficulty with the axis, so basically I won't get King tigers and Jagdtigers?
does anyone know which unit gets the jagdtigers? I remember seeing them in CC IV.... |

hi,
I'm playing the grand campaign, and is it possible to flee a map, when the enemy doesn't want a truce?
sometilmes the Ai stops attacking, and doesn't do anything. -
i forgot to activate the timer in this campaing, is it still possible to do so when you are mid-campaign game? (an ini file or so?)
thnx |

Does anybody remember the zoom key?
forgot it and I can't find it in the manual.
It's when you hover over a unit, an u press a key (I thought it was ALT), you get a small window that is zoomed in on the unit.
thnx! |

One of the best books about panther is:
Militärfahrzeuge, Bd.9, Der Panzerkampfwagen Panther und seine Abarten
von Walter J. Spielberger
http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/3879435278/qid=1149425857/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i2_xgl/302-4160589-8146415
The author was a former jagdpanther commander.
-->Only requirement is that you can read German.
It has by far the most original blueprints and specs of all panther variants. I own this book, and it even today, I discover new things! |

the most produced version was the pantherG late.
Besides other improvements (like heating & option to add IR equipment) a visual feature was the improved mantlet. (to avoid the shot trap) |

Panzer V Ausf A= panther Ausf A (V=5)
like
Panzer VI and VIb = Tiger & Kingtiger
There were about 3 main variations in Panther types, 5 smaller variations.
the First 20 or Null serie (prototype - only had 60mm glacis plate)
then the PZ V ausf D
then the PZ V ausf A
then the PZ V ausf G
then the PZ V ausf G - late (from september '44 and most produced type) |

Stug's have good frontal armour. lowest is 80mm@near vertical. the rest is sloped, and giving additional protection.
when the stug is on a hill, the protection even increases. (unless you can hit the lower front)
a stug or hetzer hulll down & on a hill is a though opponent... |
