PostForum: The Mess   Posted: Wed Sep 29, 2010 7:40 am   Subject: Re: CCS Hamachi networks closing October 29th
Hi to all.

I need to admit, that I have a problem.
My overprotective router is blocking port UDP 16000, and the procedure of opening it is a bit complicated. Though, it may not be a problem - cause GR also says, that "I will not work unless you get rid of Hamachi!". We tried to play with MarkPL yesterday (mod: Africa), but we simply couldn't.

Interesting. Since I installed GR, Hamachi also has a major problem - I can ping virtually everyone, but no one can ping me.
Btw: GR told me (oh, yea, I know, that one do not speak to a programme, but...) that my problem with router is more than rare, but happens. So, I'm the lucky one!

Well, I need to get rid of one of these and make my overprotective router like the remaining program.

Pozdrawiam.

Hi.
I've just started playing it with my brother. I've played almost all of mods and I think that this one is of really good quality.

I've got some graphics problem - but I can't judge, whether it's the matter of this particular mod or my CC wants some holidays.

There are 3 white cells with unit's name and one beige (left). How to put unit's name in this beige cell?

Ok, I've overruned problems with JVM. Smile

Now:

While using StratEdit I've got new problems. Exactly two: as I try to load anything I encounter "java.lang.NullPointerException" or "com.ms.wfc.io.EOFException: Unexpected end of file". Can anybody give me any hint how to overcome this? (Yes, I've "read the instructions first" and obey them carefully).

To start with:
I'm encountering serious problems with Java Virtual Machine - all modding tools claim, that I have none. But in fact I have one, installed 3 times today. "Unknown class" problem is the one I have to cope with. I skimmed through a lot of different sites and forums, and this problem with JVM seems to be quite a common one. But most of the sites offers a solutions, that do not apply to my freaky PC. Is there any special solution of this problem for CCTools or I've to keep searching?

Well, now I'm trying to understand the basics of changing the game. I'm a historian, not a programist, so it goes VERY slow...

Well, after years of playing CC4&5 and some time playing your magnificent mods I've finally grown up enough to take a fight and make my own mod. Of course, it'll take me a LOT of time. Wish me luck Wink

Third question:
As I install Berlin or Stalingrad mod with Cfg1.3 they doesn't work. There's a message about registry erorrs. As I deinstall mods, basic version works properly. Is there any option of downloading these mods is such a version, which would br installed with Windows Installer instead of Configuration Manager?
TIA

Hi.
I made a map. Very simple one. Then I created all necessary files (MMM and others). What should I do with this map to be visible for game (basic CC5) and CCRegedit?
I tried to change Index file, but then whole game stopped working.
TIA
