So, I must check the Gateway to Caen for the improved graphics, it´s a good one, Panthers in the Fog the other one paired with GtC and then a new approach with Close Combat Modern Tactics, but this one don´t have a campaign, I understand. Well, I only play them in single player, never in multiplayer, and the thing I enjoy the most is the Campaign mode.

Hello. I´ve been playing CC for years, I played Them when They released in CD version, many years ago, and I purchased the new Cross of Iron like 10 years ago from Slitherine Games. One day I stopped playing this CC series, and now I want to be updated with the new games, there are many new ones! So my question is if there is a good one to try, they are a bit expensive for me, like 40 euros, so it´s an important prize and I want to try a good CC one. Any suggestions? I want to say that i tried some of the old ones, and my favorite were Cross of Iron and Battle of the Bulge.

Thanks! It´s seems easy when I read it, I will look for it, I dislike how to configure multiplayers with IP´s, host, and so on, since Medal Of Honour FPS when I never get it to play multiplayer. In Call Of Duty 1 I managed to play it, but it´s not a FPS this time! It´s the Great Close Combat. huau!. I have the v3.60b not v3.60, tomorrow I will see, It´s here 2:24 AM, I need rest.
Thanks for the reply. I never played a h2h, but my brother-in-law, who showed me the CC games years ago, used to play with CC5 with a fellow in Argentina, he tells me that then is when the games shines! He tells me how he was surpassed by a lot of´s T-34 in a scenary!

I founded that the polish 40 mm anti aircraft is like the 20 mm (Panzer II) for the men, but against tanks, it´s devastating!
It has nearly 200 rounds and shots 3 volleys each time , the 37 anti tank cannon has near 40 AP rounds but only shots one each time...
It destroys Panzer´s D short barrel and Panzer´s II quickly!
Every time I a face a tank It destroys it before he blows up my anti aircarft, If the tank shots me maybe a round if he can turns the turret quickly, he already has 6 or more rounds in his hull before I have a scratch!
First time I played was with german, and my tanks were destroyed before I saw who shots me and from where. I thought that it was a special artillery barrage or a very powerful tank/anti-tank ambushed that I couldn´t see, but I never thought that it was the 40 mm anti-aircraft! I discovered it after two plays with the germans and then changed to play with the polish.
In the first map of the mod, I saw in the right upper corner a destroyed maybe 140 mm cannon? It´s a very big cannon, but it´s drawned in the map, it´s not operational, so I thought that more of them where shooting to me, with barrage or direct fire. What a surprise to see in CC this gun and how effective is !!!
And against men are the same, only lossing my firing line, the men can be safe. Terrible weapon.
I have a question about what patch install to Cross Of Iron. I need to install the previous version, the 3.60, or directly the new one 3.60b?
Yesterday I reinstalled COI and then patched it with v3.60b, that weights about 11 MB, but then I realized that using the CrossofIronUpdate.exe in the Support directory of COI (after installing v3.60b), It tells me that there is a new version to download, the v3.60 that weights a lot of more megas than v3.60b, 60 MB.
So, I install first the old patch and then the new one or directly the new patch?
It´s a bit confussing for me, thanks to all replies!

I patched it wrong yesterday, after v3.60b I patched with v3.60 then the game showed me an error when I loaded it, then I unistalled and reinstalled all the game and patched it first v3.60 then the new one v.3.60b and the game runs properly.
Maybe it´s not a bug, but I can´t see when I am in game what version of the game I have. It will be good if the game shows to me, for example, in the main menu in a corner the version that I have.
