Ok hold on, I have GIMP, But what do you go to in the program to convert the image to 16 bit itself? There are hundreds of unhelpful people on google giving m a load of rubbish! |

I'm using paint.net as my texture/graphic editor, and I'm trying to edit gadget. Unfortunately, when I save a gadget file, and then try to convert it to gadget, it says that it is invalid. How do you save files as 16 bit in paint.net because I don't have a clue!
(Btw... Modern weapons mod coming up so would be very useful.) |

The 7th number after the nationality:
e.g BR 1 2 3 4 5 6 (here)
is the number you want. If it's 0, it's infantry, if it's one, then it's support. |

The Blast radius on a projectile of 400g of TNT and Tri-Hexogen will be pretty big if you look at it. If it's good enough to destroy thick metal plate on an armoured vehicle, I suppose it would knock some infantry. XD |

A XXX Corps Flamethrower of mine Burned 2 units to death, and an armoured car, was hurt, ran out of ammo, ran across the map and got the Victoria Cross. (I was being silly) And I got another one another time... Forget what for.
edit: also took 2 prisoners XD |

Is it true that soldiers can scavenge weapons and ammunition in CC2? I found this bit on wikipedia:
Ammunition levels The game also modelled the amount of ammunition each unit possessed. Troops in a heavy fire-fight would quickly run out of ammunition. Once out of ammunition they would resort to bayonet fighting, or surrender to any enemies that approached them, although they could also scavenge weapons or ammunition from fallen friendly and enemy soldiers. This is in contrast to most RTS games, where units have unlimited ammunition supplies. Scavenging: Soldiers that expended all ammo could be moved in to close vicinity of dead soldiers to take their ammunition. If no ammunition was present at times they would pick up whatever weapon the dead soldier had. Enemy weapons could be picked up as well. However, enemy ammo can not be scavenged by itself.
If so, how would you get men to scavenge? |

(I've never actually played it online!) |

I just wrote this to say the following:
1.) I think the Demo for a bridge too far (don't worry, i got the full version) was pretty stupid. They put the best allied tanks on it!?! 2.) In Nijmegen, there is that 3 storey house down towards the bottom of the allied deployment section; perfect for a vickers! 3.) I never knew modding was so easy! |

I have worked it all out and created my first ever mod (ABTF). Including some stuff from the vehicle mod collection, I have turned the Staurt m5 into a valentine Tank, and the Daimler is now the daimler 'Dingo' without a gun (A turret mounted bren gun now.) I have also created the Wolverine Tank Destroyer (Pretty Easy). Along with all the mods, I have sharpened up all the unit names. The polish now have a maxim gun instead of the vickers, and the units now have new detailed descriptions and other things. I don't know if I should Upload It. Say yes! |

Is there a site where you can download CC3/CC4 for free (yes, absolutely free) an you don't need to be a paying member? Because I have CC2 and it would be brilliant if I could get the others. I have played the demos for CC3 and 4, but they just seem empty with only 1 map.
thanks. |
