| Oh, man, sorry i didn't catch that post... Well, i tried to reinstall and do all the tricks i knew but no dice, man. Before reading this i deleted the patch and basically gave up, but in the course of this day if i have some free time i'll do the process again and paste it here so you can see the antivirus alert. I've heard sometimes antiviruses detect some unfortunate files with suspicious names and after they put them in quarantine you can't use them anymore, but i'm sorta noob for computers, so i'm not sure about anything. Right now i play CoI but i'll give this one more chance cause i LOVE Jager's Stalingrad mods.. Thanks again, Mooxe. |

Inglorious Basterds is a great movie, but like Apocalypse Now, it isn't a war movie per se. IB is a Tarantino movie spoken in three languages, with LOTS of violence, stylish violence if you ask me  . But it's basically a Tarantino movie, with mexican standoff included, a female badass, and the topic of killing for fun flying around the whole movie. Very entertaining, i hadn't had so much fun in the cinema in many years until i saw this movie. But it isn't a war movie. It feels more like a cold war movie but it happens in a WW2 period. |

Hey guys,
This patch is the only one that works for me when installing the mods. The other one -the standard CCVPatch501a.exe- for some reason won't let my config manager recognize the CC5.exe. I downloaded the patch and i got an antivirus alert of a trojan in the file. I closed the AV and opened the file and it showed me a dll file was missing. I think it's broken. The link http://www.closecombat.pl is also broken. Maybe if someone's got the patch he could upload it again? I've trieid several reinstalls and i'm pretty sure the patch is the problem. If you can't upload it here could you upload it in another website maybe?
I'd really appreciate if you do. 4 months ago i downloaded the patch with no problem and now i -and a lot of users- may need it again. Thanks in advance. |

Who pays the modders for doing the wonderful job they do?
If people don't have the money to buy a half-assed 50 bucks game (sorry, but that's what matrix releases are in my book after getting CoI) and there's an invention called torrent... If there wasnt that beautiful invention i wouldn't have ever played CC and my life would be really boring. This game unleashed my inner grognard, so god bless torrents. Go for them. |

| Talkin about flamethrowers.... I was playing stalingrad DkDk as germans a few nights ago, my engineer team was near a minefield and the ultraagressive russian AI moved fast into the minefield shooting, so they activated the mines and it was all joy and happiness. My engineers were quite far from the minefield to get wounded by it, but the flame guy walked to throw a flame to kill the remaining enemy and he just... exploded!!! he killed the remaining enemy soldiers and i laughed my ass off. he went jihad against those poor rooskies |

I joined Gamespy for the first time (a little late huh?) to get some fighting, but i could only find there 10 people. They were playing GC or they were away, and i didn't feel like waiting, so i joined Gameranger and there was no CC players. I'm wondering if there's no chance of getting a casual game around and just play for the sake of playing, and i'm wondering if there's always only 10 players in Gamespy... Did i start playing CC too late or you can still play H2h easily? well, anyway, if somebody wanna play with me some games let me know, it gets boring to play vs the AI and i'd like to give GJS awesome maps a try with human players.
