Surprised no one mentioned Saving Private Ryan or Letters from Iwo Jima.

they are not exactly movies but the band of brothers and the Pacific are also worthy of watching!

Have you guys seen a movie called the Pianist? I thought it featured a short barrelled panzer (maybe earlier version of Pz 4?) as well as an authentic looking german half track. Another late attempt by Hollywood to create reasonably authentic looking German vehicles.

BTW, I liked the movie the Battle of the Bulge. Yes, the tanks sucked but the action was pretty good -- there was no way in hell Hollywood can recreate 50-60 King tigers in the 60's anyway.

Stalingrad maybe the best mod for CC5..yes..for all CC series? Hmm, I may be a minority here but I think that title belongs to CC4 Veteran Bob by TT.

It looks like most of major battles are covered in one form or another except Kursk - which is kinda surprising since this has to be one of the bloodiest (and largest) battles in the eastern front. Plus all the wonderful panzer toys are in play, including panther, tiger, and elefant.. Sorry I don't know much about Modding but I'd love to know if anyone is considering building this mod.

I haven't tried your maps since I am playing H2H GC with someone with old maps but as soon as they are done I'm gonna try yours. Thanks again.

Ernie,
You are right, without TT's VetBob mod, CC4 would have been collecting dust for sure.. but he singlehandedly made CC4 the most fun & challenging (against AI) of the series. It made me also realize CC4 strategy maps are also the best of the series - you can do so much more than simple advance...in VetBob mod, cutting the supply is the only way to defeat numerically superior enemy.

I'll take your suggestion and download your maps now... just one more question, if I may. I read in one of TT's posts (at CSO) that one of the secrets of CC4 AI's aggressiveness is due to small maps... do your enlarged maps have any effect to AI's aggressiveness? Thanks again!

Hi,
Count me as another fanatic CC4 - VetBob addict! I agree with all of you that CC4 VetBob is the best game of all CC series.

My question is I'm already in the middle of Grand Campaign and I'm wondering if I can install your new and enlarged maps and continue on with the GC. will that crash the campaign or is it ok for enlarged but not for new ones????

Thanks so much for keeping CC4 game alive!

Where's this guy TT anyway? Love to see more of his magic.
