i know nothing of modding or mapping. how would i start? what game would i start with? should i start modding or mapping?
anyone have any suggestions as to how to get started, and on what to get my feet wet on?

03DEC2009                                      1154HRS

I thought it was an honorable quest to bring back the one that started it all.
if getting it threads have over 1,000 hits i would hope it was more than money.
i am rather cheap though so what do i know.
  emailed the colonel and no response as of yet.

  is it copy right infringement if the material is not for sale and an individual uses it
only for personal consumption?
 i have no legal knowledge, except for figureing out what is not supposed to be done

is CCMT really worth the twenty dollars to download or thirty to buy the disc?

                             george, not much fight left! awannabeee, out!
                            P.S. wheres the spell check?

Hello All;
Well i finally emailed the colonel. i read the email over a few times before i sent it
and the S Sgt. i have been talking to said he will check it before he sends it up the
chain.
              george!

P.S. with so many views i would hope it was more than free that draws people
to the game. but than i am pretty cheap myself.

i will blow it some how.

if this falls through CCMT i guess is what i want.

                   george!

19NOV2009                           0645HRS

Hello All;

I am a novice to the CC community. i was under the impression that CC Marine was the spear head of the CC series.

As far as the desire to have the game, i can only guess for me it would be a feeling of being connected to the Military as i have never served. i know that even sounds weird to me but
that is the truth. I think it is also the nostalgia that attracts me to the game. anyway enough
of my weirdness.

i have also been to on other gameing community sites and there are more people than i thought
wishing this game was obtainable easily and i guess legally or why would so much be written about the game.

the light at the end of the tunnel is closer than i am ready for. i have gained an audience with an officer and to be quit frank i am just a dumb old electrician who barely knows anything about the english language eventhough i have used it all my life.
i have to state my case to him. of coarse the main obj. is to get the game back into the hands of the public, and the only way that is going to happen is with 3.1. because it was the only in the public sector for any length of time.

so you guys keep your fingers crossed, pray and we will see what happens.

george!

18NOV2009                                    1343HRS

Hello All;
we must be on the radar.
i was called back by an E-6 from Calf.
see light at the end of the tunnel, still dont know if it is a train or day light.

He wanted to know why i wanted a copy of the game, i explained to him
that there are a lot of people in the gameing community that would love
a copy of the game. i told him that a lot of people really mis the game.
he told me he had talked to the training facility and they in fact told him
the game was for Marine Corps use only. He went to bat for us and wanted the
chain of command point of contact and the training facility personel could not
provide a name. He further told me he would be back in touch with me. i believe
he is trying to find an official point of contact in the chain of cammand that can give
a go or no go officially.
  He may have thought i was talking about the game in general so i will call him
back after this and assure him i am only referring to 3.1 and not the more recent
versions.
  so keep those fingers crossed and dont hesitate to get in touch with me if you
have any intel that might help.
