Forum: Close Combat Gateway to Caen Posted: Sat Feb 09, 2019 12:48 pm Subject: GTC on STEAM |
hi all, sadly win10 gives me some problems to play old cc games, anyway GTC seems well balanced (at least in tactical battles), im playing that on STEAM, there are some players there, some purchased the game on STEAM some other simply downloaded STEAM and added the game puchased directly form matrix. nothing reaally change since the lobby isnt steam made, but entering the chat u will find some players to arrange some games and the STEAM friend messages works very well (letting u post messages in the game group chat or directly to the player even if he is offline) if anyone interested to start a GC in STEAM my nick is the same, BEXX76 just send me a friendship request. sadly to now only few players are good or comparable to the players of this group. ill wait for u! bexx 76 |

hi all, i have a problem trying play TLD and LSA
my pc is a win8 64bit and the screen color has only the 32bit option
when i launch the game appear the launcher, with that i have no problems, but when i hit the game button appear an image in a small scale and monocromatic.
i tried set the compatibility but didnt work, i setted the screen resolution in 1024X768,
i think that when i change the options (right click in the icon, and compatibilitu settings) it has effects only on the launcher.
anyone had the same problem?
thx .
p.s.
phanter in the fog works fine, no problems with that.

hi all. DONT BUY THIS SHIT. i think closecombat is a very good game to play vs human players. no AI can gives u the same experience of a battle vs a human. today i tried to use the MULTIPLAYER, i found no way to play game in direct connection, u are ablliged to join or host using the integrated multiplayer of PHANTER IN THE FOG the game lag and crash,. so wait for a good patch that allow u to play vs humans. thats all. |

hi all, im downloading the game now about the troops entering the vehicles i think that to dismount a trained team will do it very fast, the first things that a mechanized infantry team learn is to dismount and take position quickly. AIFV are designed to permit troops to follow advancing tanks in a barrage or under SAF, then 1 time they dismount to support them with heavy weapons or ingage enemy AIFV that suppress friendly troops. from now i will for sure equip my assault teams with AIFV IOT gain advantage from holes in enemy defence with fast advance! close combat is now entering a new era 5 min, to finish download...... |

Can´t you use the original pics from CCV GJS? I would like this game to feel WWII. So I am no fan of the new NATO-meets-Disney picutres.
I could help gather picutres if more and better ones are needed.
I prefere the game to look more like in the seconed picutre :)
Otherwise great work with the mod. I am really looking forward to it. Can´t wait!

for learn combat tactics is not needed a life, in 2 years of training u will be a medium soldier, i prefer live in a country where the children dont know how to kill me with a knife..... i can steal them the candies easy |

thx for answer, i have read and i have try to build a battle with phanters, fireflys and 6 pdr.... the firefly dont do well like 6pdr :/
at 300 meters the 6 pdr destroy the phanter in 2 frontal shoots !!!!
i understand that 300 meters is not a big distance but the maps are not so big for permit germans to use theyr superiority!
i continue think that 6 pdr are superpowered....
