Hi Pzjg!
Unfortunately, as I think I informed you some time ago, I am currently working in Djibouti, and due to the fact I couldn't bring my CC dedicated pc I couldn't even try once your SDK mod!
I'm jelous!!!!
I can't wait to go back home and install the plug in!
In the meantime I would really like to help to this mod as well.
Here is a bit more complicated to interact via lan..... as you can imagine, but a way can be found!
I will e-mail to you my new address!
Cheers

PostForum: CC5 Stalingrad Der Kessel   Posted: Wed May 31, 2006 9:32 am   Subject: Der Kessel coding progress
Hi to all!
Thanks to Pzjager for the mention and for the effort in the mod.
it's very nice to contribute as a team!
The Tschir map coding is progressing a little bit slower than I thought: the elements are 75% done while heights are still to be begun.
I hope though, to finish it in max. 2 weeks.

Cheers to all!

"Cross of Iron" takes place on the Easthern Front, somewhere, probably in summer 44, and the story is on the German side.
James Coburn is a Sgt. fighting his own war, not just against the Red Army, but against corruption, violence, etc.
Very good!

PostForum: The Mess   Posted: Tue May 09, 2006 2:13 pm   Subject: Best ww2 Movie
Hi chaps

I agree "Save private Ryan" is one of the best ww2 movie ever, but I would recomend an older one, defenitely based on a smaller budget, and made in the 70ies, when the special effects were not so good and there was no computer editing.
I am talking about "Cross of Iron" (1977) with James Coburn.
Very realistic, very raw, very though!
Have a look at the close assault of the Russian of the Germans lines...
Scarry adrenalinic!

Hi Pzjager
I collected a few pics of winter time about the Easth Front.
You might already have some of them, 'cause I havn't got time to scan pics from History books, but I just made a research on the web.
But you might find something useful.
In the last mail I sent to you an e-mail address where you can send the 20 Mg picture, if you still want to make me work on Der Kessel.

Bye for now!

Ciao
Andrea

English
dear Andima, best compliments for your mod! it was so cool to play it! Very brave in particular the Italian "Cacciacarri" teams close assaulting all size tanks and blowing 'em out with s.charge or explosive!
I hold the Axis and it took me quite a bit to win the grand campain! (Game over on the 11th of Nov.)
'Cause I am a parachuter, a special thought goes to the heroes of the Paracadutisti Folgore and to all the KIA soldiers of all wars! Much better to play games on pc instead!

Cheers and compliments!
Andrea
