We have 6 active players, 3 for each side. Campaing is advancing at a fast rate, playing 2-3 battlers daily, but we want more players to join!!

some friends was playing a MP campaing for Watch an Rhein.

Once we reached day 6 after some months of realtime playing, we see that the 6th day is repeating again and again. The rounds/days dosent advance. We can move Bg and so, but the 6th day is always there.

I think the savegame gets corrupted. It is there any way to edit a savegame?

Can it be edited to make the date works again?

Ok, so maybe it is a standar bug from WaR?

Or it can be a VetBob bug?

I think ive read somewhere that people finished the full campaing in vanilla game, but did someone finished the campaing in VetBob mod?

¿Is a campaing.txt corrupted file?

¿How can we save the campaing? Maybe using all players the same campaing.txt file? why did this happen?

That was one of the best mods ive ever seen. Yes, im spanish and that count in, but...ive tested a lot and this is one of the most realistic and historical one.

ok, we FOUND THE PROBLEM!!

i was the HAMACHI installed on computer.

You cant play if you have it installed. It dosent matter if its not open, it modificate the network and block access to external ip.

UNINSTALL hamachi, open ports, tell the firewall what programs are allowed to go out, and you are done.

ok, this night was a nightmare.

This game is frustrating me a lot.

Its very hard to play h2h over internet.

I have a router. I have ALL ports open, and also, the ports needed too. I have tried with windows vista and with xp, and its just impossible to host or to connect with anyone. It dosent matter if you have a modem, or you have a router, if you have open or closed ports, firewall or not. The game randomly connects. I have hosted succefully 2 times, and joined some times too. But sometimes, it is just impossible.

can someone write here a guide?

we tried by hamachi too, and looks bad. cant connect too.

i have strange expriences with this game playing h2h.

i can play ccv and coi without problems, but yesterday i tried to host and join with and without hamachi, all ports open, withour firewall with a friend and we cant.

reason? he was under windowsxp sp3 and me was under w vista sp1.

i think there are problems with conection for any reason.

i then restarted the other OS in the same computer, same internet conection, etc... with windows XP, and all worked fine.

As i said, the computer, router, open ports, was the same. the only thing changed was the OS. Maybe the problem is Vista.

hi,
i played some battles with my name in Op MArs campaing. Then yesterday i unnistalled the mod to play some H2H battles.

Today, i reinstalled the mod and connected. When i try to load my profile, it says its wrong version and must create a new commander....

cant i reuse my profile?

that was right. i unistalled the mp patch and the mars mod installed and runned.

but....

"Failed to get map.

ok, i think it was the resolution.
now it works fine.

I got the solution. was something about administrator rights...

but now i got another problem. I succefully installed the 1.4 multiplayer patch, but when i try to installa the new mm campaing, operation Mars, it says it cant install because some archives has been installed by another version...

maybe its a bad installation...will read to find how install it.

i got the same problem, but the solution was ok. now, i can start the "mod swap" uttility.

the problem begins when i try to install any of the patchs (for MM campaing). when i say install to the patchs "Op_Mars_MMCC3_Client.cc3" or
"MMCCIIIMultiPlayer2.cc3" it shows an error windows that say:

"error: could not install the file AIGETeam.txt into destination xxxx instalation aborted."

any idea?
