At CCS we've dropped all GJS 4.3 submods. They do not work correctly with GJS4.4.
|
Ok, good to know. I'm sure someone will update the sound mods to 4.4 soon enough. Or at least that is what I am pleading for
Good work to all the modders extending the play for everyone! |

I still prefer Koenuppa's sound from 4.3, gives the Bren sound some guts and works fine in 4.4.

Can't figure out which one this is. If you have the time can you post link? Thanks. |

Cool thanks! Downloading now.
Ya, the BoB sounds were great. The sound mod I loved (either SAS or Future) had ambient background sounds from SPR. I really liked that. Be nice to get some BoB background noise in a sound mod. |

Hey I really like the new GJS update. ButI prefer a different style of sounds. I was really fond of the sounds provided by Future way back when and SAS. Is there a similar sound mod that I can use with GJS?
Please note: I have great respect to the developers of GJS and am only looking for a sound tweak to meet my own personal tastes. |

If you download TT's incredible VETBoB be sure to get the 29 repainted maps, sometimes people over look that.
I also recommend Pvt.Grunts Malmandy map.

Do tell more. CCIV was the shortest played of the series for me and I wouldn't mind going back and giving it another try. |

They are in the original game. You just need to have the right time/battlegroup combination to get them. A long while back I looked at the forcepool tables and used that to make some custom battles with the proper date and bg to get battles with the big heavy tanks.
I think I still have those custom battles. I'll check when I get home and if I do I'll PM you with a download link from my server. |

Downloading it now. Sounds cool.
I've been mia from CC for sometime and with so many mods out I don't know where to start. The GJS updata is awesome. I used to play SAS + Tigermod an aweful lot a couple years back. |

The last time I played online was via the MSN Gaming zone.
I tried GameSpy late last night but the old ip technology of this game doesn't like my router.
Gonna try to find out which ports needs to be opened up and see if that works. I assume with so many people behind routers nowadays that there is definitely a work around for this game. Let me know if there is a post addressing this. Thanks!!
Again, really nice site. I just upgraded my GJS mod and it is FANTASTIC!! |

I've been playing CC since the day the first game came out (CC1). I was pretty bummed when Atomic bowed out, but I kept playing for a long time ... then the community kinda died out. I saved all the downloads I could for archiving.
Yesterday I set up two machines to play CC with a friend and couldn't get GJS to install on the other machine since I lost the plugin manager.
What do you know ... the CC community is alive and kicking!! I mean this is 10x the community site than we have 6 years ago!
Great job!
I can't believe the greatest game of all time has never been redeveloped since CC5. All those crappy ww2 games keep coming out ... lol. |
