well I think I've narrowed the problem down. The crashes only occur when I do battle with the 282 regiment/10 NKVD after it has respawned at one of the soviet supply depots.

Would anyone venture a guess as to why its this particular unit that is causing the game to crash after the battle is over? I can post the crash log if that helps any.

did a search but didnt find any answers to this.

I was wondering if there is any way to refit a BG without having to disband it? I remember once seeing some options for reinforcing a battlegroup and that it could only be done once, but I havent seen it since.

It'd definately be nice to have such an option, as at least on the stalingrad mod, I foresee many looses and it'd be nice to be able to reinforce the BG and bring it back up to standards rather than having to disband and await it coming back.

The name of the map is STZ North, I think, its the northernmost battle map on the Volga.

I haven't done the XP compatibility check, so Ill definitely try that out. I had the same problem 2 days ago where after I completed a battle the game crashed and deleted my save, so hopefully this works.

thanks for the help btw.

edit:

I tried the compatibility and it still crashes when going to the debriefing screen.

edit 2:

I tried the map as a custom scenario and it ended perfectly. Im hoping its not a problem with my saved game as that would really suck, considering I've made tons of progress and would hate to have to replay the first day all over again. Any other ideas of what may be causing the crash? I already reinstalled CCV and the mod, so I dont think that will do much.

One thing I saw is that the panzer IV ausf G says it has a 75mm L/43, the ausf G-J models all came with the L/48 cannon with 80mm of armour. The only version of the panzer IV to come with the L/43 gun was the F2 model.

Another thing I was wondering about was for the supply icons why are they always in red? Im assuming that as long as you maintain your supply lines you should have all units with full ammunition, correct?

just putting some minor things out there.

Im not sure if this is a known issue, I tried searching but didnt find any thing related to my problem. Anyways, sometimes after I finish a battle the game crashes and puts me back at my desktop, and when I go back in game the saved file I was playing off of is deleted for some reason. Is anyone having these kinds of issues or is it just me?

edit:

it only seems to be happening on one particular map, should I redownload the map package and see if that helps?

Not sure if this was mentioned but for the dynamite sticks it has the name geballte ladung, and the grenade bundle has a different name. The geballte ladung was in fact the grenade bunch and not sticks of dynamite. Also for the anti-tank hand mine wasnt the name of it hafthohlladungen?

Nothing major but just wanted to point it out incase you all felt it needed to be change

thanks for the mod
