Not so much these days.
I must say close combat games were the main reason I started learning CG.
I still play cc from time to time. |

Hi Luft_Ultravist,
I noticed your movie at the bottom of your posts. Have you seen entire film from which that scene was taken?

Hi robg.
pt send me all the maps for Ortona mod to add some details. The work is in progress... I think I could do most of the work over incoming holidays.
So much for the maps.

I came up with a few tactics from different sources:
1) 14th charge surprise: 14th charge in a row an the same place - the enemy wont even dream that it could happen after first 13
2) Minefield surprise: Charge thru the minefield cloaked by daylight.
3) Cherry flower attack: Japonese suicide squad commit mass suicide thus scaring the enemy away.[/b] |

Any one else been watching the documentary "WW2 in colour"? It's by Spiegel, a German company I believe, but the version I saw on tv here was in English (SBS channel)
Lots of great footage that I havent seen before. It would make a great mod video if it reaches the net.
Nothing like a War doco on TV, beats "reality" shows any day.

I have entire WW2 in colour DVD collection. You can buy it here in Croatia for less than 6$ for single DVD. Collection contains 6 DVDs.
Also you can buy WW1 in colour 6 DVD collection for the same price (<36$ for 6 DVDs).
Both collections are in English, both have Croatian subtitles if you turn them on.
I like both collection a lot. Also, I think it's cheap to pay <72$ for 12 DVDs.

I'm from Croatia and I'm looking for Croatian clans. If anybody knows any links to such clan let me know. I would really like to talk to some of the people from my country about the game and maybe have a match or two. I intend to join a clan, not playing constantly on the net, but I would like to be part of such group.
Narode, javite se ako Boga znate!

I downloaded the same map from http://www.close-combat-now.com/CC5Afrika.html but It's also corrupted (now self extracting archive, again HafidRid.bgm only).
Mooxe, when you say you fixed it on your server, did you try to unzip it and see if it's damaged zip?
Thanks |

I downloaded HafidRid map from download section (CC5 - Afrika).
I can't extract HafidRid.bgm from downloaded zip (al other files extracts OK).
Winzip 8.0 says "Bad CRC acb02291 (Should be fa7a5203)".
Can you check if this zip is really damaged or it's something wrong with my PC.
Thanks. |
