Love the movie, Hurt Locker is a good film and watched it three times last week.
There's no 100% accurate movie about real-life wars or for any other subject. Two nights ago I was watching a documentary based on the pilot that was shot down in Bosnia that inspired the movie Behind Enemy Lines with Owen Wilson and I was really smiling the entire time recalling the explosive action packed sequences during the rescue scene in the movie, and rebel hideout being attacked by a Serb division -- all didn't happen. I'm not saying it was a bad movie, in fact it was fun and served itself well as an entertainment. |

I don't know if this has been shared but I find this very interesting and a bit sad to see through the little writings of a soldier concerning his personal experiences of the horrors of war. I don't know much information where or who this came from, only that it was written by a German officer named, Otto during the Stalingrad operations.

| New guy here. I'm looking for a Close Combat 3(?) mod called Close Combat Mindanao. Its supposed to be set in modern day Philippines pitting government forces against Jemaah Islamiyah and communist insurgents. I saw pictures of it years ago but couldn't find a finish product anywhere. Anyone of you might come across it please reply. I would greatly appreciate it since I'm from the Phils. Thanks![/url] |
