I keep getting the 'Page not found' whenever I try to get into the FTP. Is it open only at certain times?

I've never been able to access it, it just say's 'Page not found'. I usually try late at night, so maybe I should try during the day?

I've decided to pick up the crack-pipe that is close-combat again. However, I now hear you have an FTP site...which I can't get onto

Apologies if you have written down the opening hours for it already, on another part of the site, I am assuming that's why the site won't load up? I have the address and password already.

Phew, I feel like I've done an eight hour open heart surgery on my laptop. I think the problem was I deleted the game, with a mod still installed.

To be honest, playing against a Rommel would be great if possible!..... but as I said, I'd settle for an AI that has a basic grasp of direction. I've lost count of the times when I was playing on the defensive, bored out of my mind, while enemy tanks and men, crawled around in circles.

How do other games in the genre manage it? Is the tricky part because we're dealing with real time? Lack of budget?

Panzer general manages to throw troops in the right direction, that's from 1995 or so?

I'm not asking for the AI to be Rommel, I just want the enemy units NOT to act like those UK soldiers spiked on LSD.

Hmmm, I get the install option on my main load up screen now, but when I try and install I still get the 'Remove selected parts' section.

Tried that, still no luck. I'll keep searching..after all these years playing, and I look like a newb. Laughing

I tried that program, and I still can't install, it just says components are ready to delete, I still have some old CC saves, will they have to go as well?

I've deleted every file I can find, and I've cleaned out all cookies.

But when I put the CD and click install, it just tells me that I can completely delete all components and such like. There's another install file, but that's not reconsigned and is an INX file.

I've also deleted the mod files and the program that implements them.

Well people love screaming at each other here, which is why I don't post much any more.
I emailed him, waiting for a reply.

So has anyone got any clues if he updated this mod?

Thanks, I barely play the game mind, half the maps seem to be from fan mods anyway. Surprised

Because my kleptomanic cousin has the CD and I can't download it without the serial number.
Are the changes that massive and worthwhile?
