Unfortunately I deleted the zip file but I did unzip the file twice and the install.txt never appeared. I do not understand how a zip file would not inflate all the files it contains????? so the install.txt cannot be in the original zip file. I would be grateful if someone could post the txt contents here as I have a slow connection and it would take days to download the zip file again without any guarantee of success. |

I have the same problem with Bloody Omaha - no install.txt file although they are present for the vet and sound plugins. Can someone please attach the file for download or email it to me. Alternatively just paste the text here and I can copy it and make the file myself.

I dont think it can be a Win98 compatibility issue for me as my first game always plays normally, it is the subsequent games that get slower and slower. Exiting the game then restarting does not solve the problem, only a reset brings it back to normal. Clearly some attribute is being filled up somewhere.
I think I will try a memory tool to monitor the memory usage to see if it really is a memory leak in which case I can reclaim it. Although since I have 1Gig I doubt if it is memory but will let you know. |

This may have been asked before so please excuse me. When playing CC5 I have noticed that with each subsequent battle the game gets slower and slower. I have a powerful computer so I know it is not a hardware issue. It seems like there is a memory leak and each subsequent game fills up the memory until after 5 straight games or so it becomes unplayable and I have to reset the PC to get CC5 playing normally again.
Is this a known bug and is there any workaround?
Thanks |
