Primarily, I'd love to see the games available for MacOS. Currently I have to run bootcamp to play the Close Combat games. I'm not sure the difficulties that would be encountered in making the future games available for the Mac.
In addition, I think that the Close Combat games could find a niche audience on consoles as well. Perhaps the PS3/PS Vita, as Sony seems to readily support independent games on the PSN. While you would lose the modding abilities, it would introduce a new audience to an amazing series of games.
CC5 was the first Close Combat game I ever played and I fell in love. I've since purchased both WAR and COI. It's really good to have an updated version of CC5, I love that the Canadian and British beaches are now included in the game.
I've only had time to play one battle so far, but I'm loving it. The first time I saw a mortar round light up the night, I was stunned.
My only problem is I can't really get to involved in the game until I get my new Macbook, I'll be able to install Windows XP. Once I'm able to carry TLD around with me, I'll be in heaven!
In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
