Just ignore: I've run BoB and other mods with no problems, but FS just complains of no memory (which is untrue) or can't find the maps. Yes I've uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted, and dropped chicken entrails on it etc etc. Still no success. Any ideas? Re-downloading maps worked.

Now *that's* funny. The real use of camo! I didn't even see you the first glance and had to look again after reading the text to work out what you meant!

With these ideas I've managed to win now in the town area, and will try the tank tactics suggested. They make sense.

Ok, getting closer to an answer. But in the default setting of CC5 BoB Wreizen scenario, there are NO good Russian tanks- just 3 assault guns- GV SU100s, which do little damage to the Pzkpfw 6B.

So it sounds like there's basically no realistic way to win unless the Pzkpfw 6B is in the town and you can get the Russian flamethrower or panzerfaust within 20 m.

Umm, yeah I meant the Pzkpfw 6B, and in the Wreizen scenario playing the AI it sits on the hill in the middle at least 60m from cover.

The Russians have only 2 Assault pioneer teams and 1 heavy recon, which between them have 2 panzerfausts and 1 rocket. So the odds are very low on taking out the tank.

Or a I missing something, like should I lure the tank into the buildings with a promise of free back massages for the crew <g>.

No matter what I try I can't find a way. Is it impossible?

Although its late, for what its worth, I think this is a fantastic mod- great maps, lots of variety in the maps- much more than the original. Maps are very high quality too. Yes the crashes occasionally are annoying but I'm still playing this after what a year? johnd.
