no, it is more a deathmatch type

under all circumstances, you try to get a complete map and then advance on the strategic map (with no enemy in your back)

there is no timelimit

Hi there,

I please need your support.

We play CC (Stalingrad) quite often via the web.

However, some of the maps take hours to complete, which is too much time for us.

Has anybody anytime ever invented a piece of sw that allows to save an ongoing game?

Would be very helpful.

Thanks a lot

all the best

Hi Guys,

although there is a bridge between the maps and they are directly neighbouring, I can not get from "Kuporosnoye" to "Grain Elevator" or to "Southern Ferry Terminal" on the Stalingrad mod strategic map.

Is this on purpose or is it a bug?

If it is a bug - is there a fix?

As always

Hi guys,

after encircling the Russian KV battle group in Stalingrad, I see on the strategic map "no ammo - no fuel" for them.

However, they rumble and fire!

In how far are the supplies really reduced, how much ammo do they have?

Will they get new supplies - or perhaps die away?

Thx

Hi all,

downloading the mappacks always stops after about 280 MB, then, the file can not be opened.

Has anybody experienced the same trouble?

Thanks

Hi there,

after "total victory", I get the message that the enemy's unit was forced to disband - or mine, after "total defeat".

Will the units re-appear in a campaign?
In which strengths?
After how many turns?
Or are they gone for ever?
What are the criteria that a unit comes back or is lost for ever?

Thanks a lot

Hi,

is there a strategic meaning in occupying the maps with depots (GE/RUS) in the Stalingrad mod?

1) Are my units better supplied if I occupy a depot map?
2a) Will the enemy lose supplies if I occupy his depots? 2b) After which time?
3) Can I "starve out" enemy units by encircling them on all maps around them with my troops?

4) Does occupying a depot hex result in a higher/better total victory?

Thx to all

Hi Zappii4,

thx for your support - it is much appreciated

1. The principle could be proved - I now have different battlegroups than CC5, and that is great

2. Unfortunately, you sent lots of Finnish troops instead of Russians (must be a Karelian battle) - could you try again?

Thx

... his "CC5AdbData"-folder from CCReqXP, showing the correct forces/battlegroups for STALINGRAD Mod?

Has to contain actual FPools.txt, BGroups.txt, NOT the ones dated 16.03.2004.

Would be a great help.

Mail address is: peter.pan9 [at] gmx [dot] net (created for this instance only, so please forget about all kinds of SPAM-jokes)

Hi Zappi4,

that was ensured - no different result.

Hi COL,

your link leads to an empty page - although the download counter goes up one

Looking forward to your support

Regards to Sidney, Colonel!

Maybe, your expeditionary corps to Europe can provide me with some help:

ok first trick is to make sure stalingrad mod is plugged in
• roger that

unzip and a brand new cc req
• My source for CCReq: http://www.closecombatseries.net/CCS/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=search&query=
• And yes, I use the XP version
• Unzipped a completely new one

update it with the unpack exe files (if necessary)
• Colonel, u write “Files”.
• I have ONE (1), and that is in C:\...\Desktop\ccreq 0709\CCReq\Exe
• Do I need more???? BTW, in this folder, there also is cc2tga.exe

when u first go to open
it will ask u to import data
u need to check these boxes
• In the attachment you see what it does. Sorry, no option to check a box

first go and check maps
that there stalingrad
usually no probs there
• Yep, never had a problem here

then check to make sure teams r stalingrad teams
this is usually the one that never works first go
• Good to hear!

if u dont have sucess
delete the cc req
and try again
• Is this the trick? Unpack CCReq until it works? How often, from your experience? How can there be a difference, when I unpack the same exe several times?

LTC salutes COL

Hi Zappi4,

discussed the issue with a friend yesterday.

He experiences 100% the same problem (phhh)

Question came up: do u run MS Java? Or any thing else in addition to CCReq?

Thx

Hi Zappi4,

thanks for time, effort and detailed list.

I printed it and followed it step by step - 100% no error.

However, BGs are NOT mod BGs

Do u think you can chck with Stalingrad-Mod yourself?

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched

found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
