Probably we prefer to NOT take any responsibility at all. It works good for West in decades, and even for Israel, China, India, Pakistan, etc. May be after 100 years some Russian president will made an apology with crocodile tears about something bad happened to someone, like https://edition.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/americas/10/01/us.guatemala.apology/index.html
The real question is  - how Putin plans to build-up relations with ukrainians in case of some kind of 'victory'. Of course, switching TV programmes to opposite will do a lot of work (like it did well in Ukraine after 2014), 10 mil mostly pro-nationalis population fled to Europe will help greatly too, but after visiting some 'liberated' places in person, it definitely will not be enough. And it is a mystery for me...probably Russia will face an british-irish relations at its worst. Like Poles before and during WW1.

Cannot take responsibility and shifts answer to the west.

That's a hat trick!

It’s very funny for locals to read foreigners’ opinions about Russia.
Excuses for those who blame Russia for what they themselves have succeeded in will no longer help. The War of Independence has begun and is going well so far. Deus Vult! Twisted Evil

We see right here some light whataboutism and a new reason for the war.

I forgot to add one excuse to the list.. "we learned this behavior from the west."

What in this war can Russia take responsibility for? I ask only to begin to form a basis of facts built on the notion Russians are not infallible. Can anyone answer?

A lot of rubbish posted here...

Let us not forget  - Russia invaded an independent sovereign state

Let us not forget - Russia shot down a civilian airliner with 239 humans onboard

Let us not forget Russia has stolen Ukrainian children

Let us not forget Russia has killed countless Ukrainian civilians with missiles, bombs ,and starvation like Holodomor

Let us not forget Russia lied about the "Little Green Men" in Crimea

Let us not forget Russia lied about Navalny's death

Let us not forget Russia poisoned Skripal in England then lied about it.

Russia has just held the most laughable "election" in the history of facist propaganda

JFFulcrum, paratmar and others you keep trying to muddy the waters with Telegram posts and Youtube videos to distract us, classic Russian misinformation!

Step back and look at the big picture to clear the air and the mind - it is so clear that Russia lies, cheats, kills, murders to get its own way.

Everyone step back from the bullshit posted and look at the big picture... Russia is an evil country and MUST be stopped before they invade Poland, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia or any other sovereign country Putin decides to take next!

Dictators do not stop with appeasement - only with force!

Like many people I am sick and tired of your constant excuses and garbage. Just FUCK OFF back to your own country and leave the rest of the world alone!

When cornered the usual excuses come out like rapid fire. Whataboutism, nuclear war, Nazis, they are all animals, they are our brothers, its a civil war, Ukraine is not a country, Ukraine has no culture etc etc. This is by design. This pattern is not recognizable to these indoctrinated.

You can get an idea of what Russians are exposed to at https://www.youtube.com/@russianmediamonitor & https://www.youtube.com/shorts/wrF7zvj_GLs

Some will say they use Telegram as their main source for updates on the war but the entire country is influenced by state media and fear which in turn influences opinions on Telegram. What's the main reason Telegram is so popular in Russia? The answer is not compatible to the indoctrinated. At the very least Telegram in some cases is showing the real effects of the war the Russian media cannot cover. I briefly remember something about how the creator of Telegram is living in self exile but has been working with Russian authorities, likely to assist opening back doors into the encrypted app.

I understand that no evidence will ever be enough, this is by design.

These links offer reasonable explanations and summaries from on scene investigations, from online sources and from recovered meta data and phone logs as to who is responsible.

I don't agree that Russians have air superiority. Neither side is controlling the airspace currently.

At best its air parity. Both sides are launching air attacks from the deck or from way behind front lines and AAA defences.

That's pretty cool. Reminds me of something I seen yesterday where the Ukrainian military was identifying where mines were using heat sensing. Apparently the mines absorb heat during the day and for a period of time they are visible by thermal imaging.

Seen PZLeader regularly at the top end of TH and organizing tournaments... I was always keeping an eye on those Canadian flags. Not had the pleasure to play against him. I always understood that CC2 players had some innate capacity for understanding how to play CC3/4/5 quite well so always kept my guard up playing them

Its not uncommon now for someone to give instructions to their loved ones to let an online community know of their demise. Besides who Homba mentions above I only know of one other player who passed away. This community grew up in the internet's infancy. We barely had voice chat and no social media in those days, the internet was still the wild west. Methods to connect with others players was limited to chat and forums. Being quite an old game now most of us have moved on and are probably in our mid 40s to late 50s. There are probably quite a few who have passed away and we have no idea who.

In the other game I play, Eve Online, its quite a large community and many players have passed away. Their friends usually conduct an in game event which includes launching an in game memorial. These memorials are permanent'ish unless destroyed by other players but this is a difficult task. There is an understanding though among the community for these memorials to leave them be. Larger figures in the game who have died had permanent structures created by the games designers which are not destroyable. The player "VileRat" was an Eve player who died in the Benghazi raid in 2012, actually playing as the raid started and his Eve corporation had a large event to honour him and launched an in game memorial.

The exhilaration of winning against certain opponents and shock of losing has forever etched someone's avatar into your memory. We're likely all thinking about each other from time to time... where are they now?

One thing for sure is yes Russia destroyed the damn near Kherson.  Not a bad idea because it makes transportation almost impossible in the entire region and would halt any Ukraine advances.

Unlikely. Most flood comes to Russian-hold bank of Dnepr, with 61 death toll. Russia lost water to Crimea channel, what was one of few real conquests since the start of war. Dnepr water level drops significantly: https://colonelcassad.livejournal.com/video/album/275/#rprecord=eyJpZCI6MjIwMzM5NSwicmVjb3JkSWQiOjIyMDMzOTV9 , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p24yKacjwhQ and Ukraine already took a foothold on the east bank. Much more likely dam fall due to 2022 war damages (made by Ukrainian side with US-supplied HIMARS) and absence of repairs and water level regulation, being on the frontline.

While ignoring the fact that Russia invaded and all the consequences that comes bundled, most if not all pro-Russian people will assert that where ever a Russian missile hits was a military target and anything bad that happens is the Ukrainian's fault like this dam. Pro-Russians were celebrating Russian strikes on various civilian infrastructure for months on end but are seemingly able to backflip hundreds of metres away from responsibility of this dam.

Well the word march can be used as an expression. Like... March of Dimes.

DJ/Bungarra you should join the Discord. We've been talking about the Ukraine for awhile now. There's some staunch "Zelensky is a Nazi, the West started the war, Russia had no choice but to invade, we should use nukes" believers from this community.

Poland, Hungary and Slovakia vetoed Ukrainian grain movements inside their territory. So now Ukraine can export agricultural products only by sea or through Rumania.

It seems the Ukrainian grain, instead of going to feed Africa after EU lifted tariffs on Ukrainian products, remained in those countries to speculate, annoying local farmers.

Well, another shot in the foot of the EU and less income in Kiev to sustain the war.

But Banderites still have a chance to win the war...

Grain exports out of Ukraine are made public Berger.

Before you jump to any more broadly stroked conclusions remember "Cargo may be processed and re-exported from the primary destination."

Right click the cc5.exe and set compatibility settings to Windows 95, set the file to run with admin abilities as well.

Cycle through the different compatibility settings until you see the resolution you want in game.

I run CC5 at 1440x900.
