not sure. i installed the one that came with the game. is that the same one?

if not, i will install it, but will that fix the problem? or will it just prevent it from happening in the future? i just really don't want to start over...

Well, I was just soldiering on through the 10 day counter offensive campaign when something weird happened on Day 7. I was battling on one of the maps (I am not by my computer right now, so I don't remember the name) and I had a Total Victory, sent the remaining Germans running. So I go through the rest of the turn, and eventually make it back to that map again. It says on the Strategic Map that my armored division is gonna battle a German army group on the map again. But when I click on the icon for the German army group to see what they have left, it shows nothing, like they have no platoons, no teams. nothing. So it's basically me versus no one.

So I go ahead and click continue, thinking it'll just show a quick victory and I go on. But once I'm in the force pool screen (where you can rename your guys, etc.), the button saying NEXT is not highlighted. You can't click on it. Also, the button that says Edit Opponent has nothing written on it, it is just a blank rectangle. So I can't click on that either. So I am stuck there, can't go on further to the other battles.

Does this make any sense to you guys? The computer I play on is not online, so I can't bring up screen shots or anything. Basically, the opponent I am supposed to face has no units, and I can't click NEXT and continue on to the other battles in the turn. I am just stuck on the Force Pool screen.

This totally sucks because I am 7 days in the campaign. I am wondering if I can salvage this, and continue, I don't wanna start over. Maybe there's a way to fix it? Has anyone else had this problem? Ugh, frustrated.

I was just wondering if there was a complete list somewhere of all the different types of vehicles and infantry teams on WaR. The instruction manual has a nice quick list, but I'd like to learn more about each specific team. I think I accidentally ran across one somewhere on here before, can't seem to find it now. It would be sweet if I could actually see real pictures of these vehicles. I am quite sure one of you on here knows an awesome link for that.

Also, not being a total military expert, I am not too sure about how to read the insignia on the shoulders, therefore I am not sure of the ranks, especially when it comes to the SS/wermacht. I guess I can look it up on Wikipedia.

One more thing, does someone know of all the available medals there are for both sides? What are they called and how are they ranked? Does someone have a list somewhere? I tried to Wikipedia this, but really couldn't find much. I got a sweet looking medal when one of my bazooka teams took out two panzers, therefore saving the lives of an infantry team and a command team that were about to get slaughtered by the tanks. It looked a lot like a Navy Cross, but not sure. I think it was a gold cross lying on a gold wreath, forgotten the color of the ribbon. Will take screenshots in the future.

OK, gonna start a new operation now since it's 7 degrees below freezing out there and don't wanna step out of my warm apartment... Thanks in advance!

My girlfriend has said she would buy me this game for Xmas! Sweeet. But I have one concern. I live in Sweden, but will be going to LA in February where I will work for a few months before returning back to Sweden. I do not plan to bring my computer with me, and I will be using a different computer . So my question for you all is: Can I download the game to my computer here in Sweden, then do so again on the computer in LA? Or will I have to repurchase the game for the computer in LA?

I am downloading it, not buying the disc. It's impossible to find here, and don't want to wait to have on shipped. I have never purchased a game using this method. I really do think I need to buy it only once, but want to make sure first.

Also, one more thing. Is it worth getting this version? I almost feel like just getting Invasion Normandy instead. What do you all think? I've been a loyal player since '97, but never bought CC5. Stopped with CC4. What do you guys think?
