Hi Gang,I wonder could anyone please help me.I had to get myself a new pc,i installed cc5(full) and put my mod in Kharkov,which ran fine on my old pc windows7 64bit.In fact the same set up as the new pc.Now the problem, Kharkov loads fine,but when placing troops the screen brakes up,also when you right click half of the actions disappear.When giving a action ie move the blue command line stays on the screen.Is this a graph card issue or something in doing wrong in the setting part.Thanks for any help in advance.Heres hoping.

Thank you Mooxe.I have done what you suggested but still the same.Should i delete the folders in x86.could that be the problem.There was a walk though on here that should you how to get a mod up and running on windows 7.Something like putting your config man into the Library section of your pc.

Hi i'm running windows 7 home premium.Ive just in stalled invasion normandy(full).im trying to install the mod Kharkov.The patch has gone in saying 5.01 in fact everything has gone in fine.It even says that Kharkov has been installed.But when i go to play the game Invasion normandy game comes up.What have i done wrong.

Ive copyed the ssi folder from program x86 to programs, the back up file as well.This is the 4th time of install and uninstall.I dont know what im doing wrong.Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Guys.Can anyone help me please,On here along time ago there was a post and link, on how to load up a mod onto windows 7 x86.I did save it but cant find it now.Could someone please post the link for me.As it was a step by step guide and it worked great.Thank you in advance.

Do i load just invasion normandy,or the whole thing with the mod,then use regedit.i used regedit and it didnt find anything.please help.thank you

Thanks mooxe for getting back to me.i have done what was on the link turned it off.Reinstalled the full game.The thing is do i still make a config manager folder in c drive or in x86 or just as i would if i was on vista.The patch is still being put into x86 folder.thank you

Hi could someone please help me,iv'e tired and tired to install Battle of the Scheldt mod over cc5,but its not having it.It worked fine on vista,but my pc packed up and had to buy a new one with windows 7.
I followed how i always load my mod but no go.It forces the patch into programs x86,also ssi into x86.I tired to copy and paste into just programs,no go,Could someone please walk me through the process,and get me up and running,thank you.

Hi Techs.
I have been playing Red Storm with my brother via gamespy,for months now.I'm on vista and hes on xp.All has been ok until this week.Now all of a sudden we just cant connect to play.
We can connect to gamespy,he sets the game up as host,i join you see both of us on there.The voice says starting game.The screen goes black......................and nothing.As i have said it was ok afew days ago and could play with no problems .
He has reinstalled red storm,so have i.The firewalls ok.so i dont really know what has gone wrong.Any help would be fantastic.Thanks room in advance.

Hi ,Go to gamespy or microsoft and download service pack 1 for vista,Run it then install cc5.it will then be running fine. Smile

HAY Thanks again guys as always you got my game up and running works a treat now.The only thing i'm having trouble with now is gamespy.See if you guys can help me out here.My brother and i log onto gamespy - into the lobby of cc5 - He sets the game up,and i select his name - the voice says lauching game,the screen gose blank and once again Nothing. Iv'e checked the firewall, the ports, no anti is running.What can it be ,as i have said before it was working well 2 weeks ago.Iv'e even got a new disc to see if it may be that,but it isnt.Thanks again guys really helpfull thank you.

Thanks squadleader & RD_Roach.the ctrl got the game going fine.The thing is would this work online as i play my brother on game spy.I am playing the kessel over cc5, and that has been working great and has been for weeks online.I went to play online last week,and the game just stopped responding.the thing is,when i uninstalled the game to try and get it going.I uninstalled the game first then the mod.Do you thing it didnt uninstall the mod properly . The op system i'm on is xp.I have tryed system restore,but still no good. Thanks again guys,Please keep the info coming,with you guys helping i'm sure i will playing online soon.Thanks

Hi Troops.I'm in need of urgent assist.I have just installed cc5 for the 100th time with the same result Nothing.The cc5 icon is on my desk top,the disc is in the tray and working fine.As soon as i press the icon,the screen gose black as if to start the game,i hear the start up of the intro (still a blank screen) and nothing.I press ctrl-alt-delete to see what has happend.Only to see cc5.......... Not responding.It was working fine afew weeks ago.And i cant think what the hell has gone on Rolling Eyes

Hi Gang.I'm having real problems with cc5 at the moment.2 weeks ago it was working fine,up until afew days ago.now when i try to play,i'm left with a blank screen.i need to press ctrl alt delete to see whats happened and the message is close combat = not responding.I just cant work it out,as i have said it was working fine afew days ago.there is nothing wrong with the cd or the cd tray,as the play screen comes up,press play and that is it.Any help would be great,thanks in advance.

Hi Gang.I'm having some real probs with cc5 at the moment.I've just finished starlingrad.And now want to play battle of berlin.I have uninstalled cc5/starlingrad totally.And reinstalled cc5 afresh.For some reason there is no video folder after i have installed cc5.I have gone step by step with b.o.b.And all it dose is come up with an error message to say :- can't find the directoy videos please reinstall.I have done this afew times thinking i have missed something,but i havent.I do a full install but still no video folder to copy to make b.o.b work.Any help would be great.. I have just tried to upload the Stalingrad map mod onto cc5,it is just refusing to add itself to cc5 map folder. Stalingrad is working fine on my xp system,but i am now running a new pc and it has vista running system on it.

Any ideas guys,your help would be greatful thank you.

Thanks very much for you help,I have done as you have said both folders are in the system folder.Original folder is empty and packages has a folder in there with stalingradv1.2.So what do i do now,should i uninstall and start all over again.Thanks again Roach.rich

Hi All.

Can anyone please help me please.i have installed all steps to a tee,but when it comes to step 7 i get an error message.When i run the con fig manager,i see in the not installed box what should be there (STALINGRADv1.2).i high light it to install and i get this message :- Faied to copy:\program files\ssi\close combat invasion normandy\cc5.exe to system\original\cc5.exe(error code = 112).
Any help would be very greatful,thanks for your time.Kansas1000
