I love the mod, a few things I have run in to,

1) One time I got airsupport , the note said from a Typhoon. When I called on it a German halftrack flew acrossed the screen and shot up a group of Jap Infantry.

2) After playing one battle I get an error message saying that it can't find the infantry gun image.

Thank you for the work you put in for this mod....:-)

I can not start the game, I get this error (see image)

I extracted the map pack in C:/Matrix Games/Close Combat The Longest Day/Maps folder = error

extracted in .../Close Combat The Longest Day/okinawa/maps folder, overwriting and no overwriting existing files = same error.

What should I do? Thx

I also have the same problem and get the same error message. I have run the installer twice, and placed the map packs in the map folder in CCTLD. Can you be a little clearer on how things are to go. Sorry for being such a dummy  Rolling Eyes .

Thanks,

One of my dads brothers ferryed B-29s from the factory to various places in the Pacific, the other brother was a tail gunner on a B-17 late in the war.
My moms brothers, one was in the submarine service from 42'- 45', the other was on a LST that landed on D-Day at Omaha.

Well, I have the right map image, but it seems the elements are for the Point du Hoe map.( the point du hoe map seems to be alright) ie: the mines are in the point du hoe positions, when I right click on the map in the middle of a hedgerowed field it sayes it is deep water, again in another field when I right click it sayes it's a bunker floor.
Any ideas?

I need the element files for the "St. Pierre du Mont" map. I tried to get the map and files from the disks , but I could not find it on any of the disks. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling TLD with no luck.
I have also installed the beta patch to the game.
Please let me know if you can help.

Thanks,
slpatgun
