With newer machines...get used to using the arrow keys to scroll when playing CC5. But at max res...there should be minimal scrolling on most CC5 sized maps. |

Same here...on a 3 year old AMD X3 PC (Win7-32). What's your max res setting for playing CC, STWA? |

I've given the submod a try...and I don't like it. Seems like infantry is too hard to kill now...relentless little men! My guess is the PitF engine is calculating data differently (somewhat like LSA?) and the data values still needs tweaking. Currently trying out just using the elements file...and enjoying some good fights! |

Sounds great, Kanov! Makes me wanna play PitF again...and I'm considering to finish up work on my rank graphic fixes based on your data files. |

Yup, French voices are from Meuse, but the Dutch voices are from LSA.

Ahh...LSA! Completely forgot about this title! |

Just checking...French voices are from Meuse, right? Dutch voices from Battle of The Scheldt?
Great idea adding on those voices BTW! |

Check BfC .
|
Finally found time to play around with BfC...very nice work. Furious firefights and nice units to fight with. Too bad there's no Ops in the beta...I like to try out a few Ops before jumping into a GC. Although this mod is designed for H2H...single player is still great fun and playable :)
And it's great to see my custom rank graphics (from TLD Ground Tactics mod) being put to good use!
Great work, Guys! Looking forward to more updates...and hopefully with some Ops thrown in. |

Sure...anyone wanna take a crack at this...let me know. I can provide all the WIP data and artwork.
I don't have much time to mod extensively these days...just a few graphic tweaks here and there to enhance/fix other mods and the Matrix stuff is my niche |

Easier to do Normandy...same old looking maps that you can cut-and-paste from the old games/mods and no need to work on new element files (the current Normandy element file for the rereleases still needs tweaking) Basically the same nations, units and weapons...same vehicles with samey camo schemes etc.
So.........more time to work on the new features and introduce new bugs!
Prolly gonna buy it anyway...for a few weeks of fun before putting it away waiting for those patches |

Great news to see you and Cathartes on board for the new (and last) 2D CC release, Mana! I hope you continue with Kursk 1943 soon after your work with the Matrix game is complete!
Good luck! |

Haha, Panther G vs Cromwell IV is everywhere - so dramatical, but unfortunately unrealistic
|
Too bad the simple rank graphics glitches are never looked at...I'm spotting more panzer crews with infantry double litzen collar insignia and red arty waffenfarbe. The CC5 engine restricted rank graphics slots...the Matrix rereleases opened up those restrictions...but the devs time and time again messed up these simple graphic details
But it's great to hear that this time good people are taken on board! Good luck, Guys! |

Thanks a lot Pete and Buck! Great stuff...and for playing vs AI the smaller maps are great fun! Very nice work on the maps...bravo!
Minor "bug" report. The gadget files supplied with the mod are missing Luftwaffe/FJ ranks. |
