Well, i am out of CC world but see this make me feel again the CC itch, even they do "new" maps i expect see the original CC2 maps isnt bad, form were and are great maps but the law of minimal effort used in CC releases...
And cant add more, if the game is under or in 30 euros i buy it but if it is in the "new" 80 euros matrix rule i can say bye bye |

Well, the limit in the number of troops is a bad thing for me, now you can storm as allied german companies special because i think we can see they in the beaches (and defend a beach with only 9 units... you need cover many terrain and if with 15 is hard... attacker can centrate in 2 positions but defender no) and sorry but in a disembark you can send a regiment to the assault but they dont fight as a regiment, fight as they can (the command system is break and all depends of individual actions and a single MG can do a carnage but in CC MG can do arc fire), the number of BG is very similar in both sides but if allied have few company units.... the grand campaign ends in a few turns but hey if you see WAR dont seems strange (Super Sherman with 75L38mm killing Panthers with frontal shoots at 300 meters when the panther cant do the same).
PD: when we can see 2 BG fighting in the same zone??? or one in the first line and other behing it giving reinforces to the battle??? |

Flamethrower is a joke no??? 50 dollars (38 euros) for a 1999 game with some patch improvements is equal to a 2008-9 game with NEW engine???
I like the CC system but is time to a NEW game, not a Release using mod stuff, for me WAR and other releases cost 20 euros or less, is a download game!!!
PD: sorry man but try to change client opinion is a little... psss |

if these is true
"Close Combat (VI): Leather Necks - Leather Necks is the anticipated name for CC6. This version is believed to be using CCM as its base and to cover battles from various wars that the USMC has participated in"
I dont buy it, i dont want another piece of bullshit like CCM and CCMT
PD: use another name to these "game" |

Well, you know that the client ALLWAYS are in the correct??? people says "we want CC6" CC owners sold COI, CCMT and now WaR (CCIV with a new look), i think there are a little problem of comunication...... or they take us for a band of Junks.
In my country we say "Experiments with the righteous and soda", we all play CC2,CCIII, CCIV and CCV (not all but at least yes to CCV) and i think all the people loves play in Ardenas.. well in the Bulge, or in Holand but i asume this is the past and now CC need new horizonts not allways looking back (CCMT ISNT THE FUTURE MY GOD!!!!).
WaR have many new things but why dont use it in a new game??? ooooo is easy take and old game use all you can recycle and selling as a "new" game for the price of a new games.
I dont say WaR is a bad game but i dont pay more than 20 Euros (a little less than 30 american dollars) for it (i buy Ageod games for 30 Euros phisical for example).
Now what´s the next??? the game before called CCV ??? OFTN (Operation f**k teutons in Normandy???) or better OLDFW (Operation let´s drink french wine???).
If the expend money and time in releases they can expend it in a NEW CC game |

Anzac, increase unit ability to survive dont means they allways abort your orders, for me is made more important command soldiers, a good sarge kick some assholes because EY they are soldiers and have orders (if soldiers allways abort i want a option called "Patton´s Fury" to punish bad soldiers hehehe) but sarge loves their little bastards and if fire is to heavy he take other actions. |

microgestion = micromanegement, sorry for my bad english.
schrecken, when i see a MG team doing supression fire on their own i believe it and about Rambo soldiers... well, i dont say i send soldiers to the death and want they made a banzai charge, i only say that if units ALLWAYS try to save their lives game could be a little :zzz and we cant see medals in table of results, sometimes try to save your life is like suicide (you search cover outside a house when you are shooted from 2nd floor??? i play DoD and can say is better do an assault than wait behind a cover.).
Well, micromanegement in CC could be frustrating because CC isnt a Combat Mission where you can give orders taking your time, if you think micromanegement is good why dont put more than 15 units on the battlefield??? think if is hard command 15 units now if you increase the number of clicks per action......... i want give orders to 2-3 squads and at least leave alone 1 minute and dont find it dead when i returns or see they where i dont want. |

Well, automatize microgestion isn´t a bad thing, for example if i give to a MG team the order DEFEND i want it shoot to ALL infantry units changing objetive (supression role) no do hundreds of cliks and focusing my attetion in one unit (is one of the things that made IMPOSIBLE more than the 15 units in CC) if the game have an AI is for take decisions and minimize the human factor in microgestion, CC is a tactical game where i can give orders to squads and i want to see soldiers working as soldiers with suboficials working as suboficials, whe are in 2008 not in 1998 and we want some AI and if soldiers need me because tanks advance with the rear to the enemy....
I like microgestion but NO in a RTS i have my wargames with their turns and hexagons. |

eeeee if troops falls in a ambuscade what type of countermeasures take they??? crazy minute? close combat? retreat? or search cover? as i can read units with waypoints STOPS when find enemy and i prefer loss 1 soldier but taking a tactical position.
More cliks for the same action isnt made the game more difficult, is made a stupid game. |

Well, girl soldiers isnt realistic, think if you lauch a squad to the assault of a building and a ambush enemy unit in the building fire at... 30-40 meters and your troops stop.... well, they are DEAD MEN, i think if they have a good sarge they go to CLOSE COMBAT ummmm Close Combat the name sound me....
I think that girl soldiers are a way to no update AI because if they dont need you to know what they need to do they are forced to think, i see infantry and tanks are more "stupid" than in original series because they wait orders ALLWAYS and never take the iniciative. |
