This is great to see Mods being made for the newer crisper versions of these beloved games.
I like the new releases quite a bit , I am not crazy about the PITF way of dealing with force pools but if that is able to be played around with
I am fine wit it .

I took it out of windowed mode through the main options page as nothing else worked.
I had my tool bar all the way to the right in that screenshot to try to see if it gave more room to the window- it didn't.  No better results when moved back to the bottom of the page.

PostForum: Close Combat Last Stand Arnhem   Posted: Sun Aug 19, 2012 9:16 pm   Subject: Stuck in windowed mode!
Greetings Sirs,
I tried LSA yesterday for first time in windowed mode and it shrunk my screen clipping off the lower options/support/time so that I can't get out of the windows mode now.

I am playing 1680 x 1050 on a 20" Monitor. I tried re-sizing without success and can't find a key code to get out of windowed mode in the manual.
I only find a passing reference to windows play and ESC key or Fn full screen key don't work in game only asks if I want to end game.
I checked out Shrecken's posts but I am playing in win 7 and his images show entire game in the window- mine is clipped.

Any advice? I searched the forum prior to asking.
Thanks

Yes thanks!  I had hoped the tanks would be more historically correct in that one.

That is definitely the movie.  It was confusing for me b/c I know very little about the Balkans and WW II.
I had difficulty trying to figure out what the goal was in the movie. Chetniks and Tito's partisans , the German Army, Italian Army and everything jumbled up.

That wikipedia article was a big help in sorting that out. I couldn't figure out what the Allies were trying to do there. Apparently that is yhe point- the Allies were trying to figure out what do do there as well! I also didn't know Tito had a strongly voiced policy not to leave the wounded behind. Explains the motives in the movie better in my memory.

Edit for SAPA - it took me a very long time to find the movie WINTER WAR. I found out about that movie from your mods!

I have Brest Fortress & it is pretty good. 9th Company was not. The Beast, I believe it is not Russian made , worth watching @ Afghan-Russian war. I try to get as many Eastern Front movies as possible and am always looking for recommendations esp Russian & German made. I thought Stalingrad was awful.

THE UNKNOWN WAR is an excellent TV Series from 1978 that Burt Lancaster narrates and is great to see him in 1978 USSR introducing the show. I got it in a hard drive swap for music and it came back w/all 20 episodes in a folder. The guy I traded with knew I was a WWII history buff. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0483223/

Until a recent hard drive crash I had a film about German vs Russian/ ?Yugoslavian? partisans that was raved about as rare and made in early 50's?  The movie had a couple recognizablely named American actors in it- though they did not speak English. I don't recall the name.
Does anyone know what I am speaking about and can name the movie?

This means I can play long into the night after I attend a beach BBQ.

Incredible kill count. Unbelievable he survived that long.

I have a small problem w/the mod.
I just down loaded it and there are no instructions for installing in the read me.

What should I do?
Unzip everything into the plugin folder or do I need to manually replace all the battle group team info, BTDs etc.
I'm looking forward to playing this but don't want to screw my game installation/setting up in the process.

Hello davidssfx,
The link for Ground Tactics 5 download is dead and I'd like to play the newer versions of it.
I have been away from CC for about a year or so and noticed today when I fired up TLD
that I am only playing w/version 2.
Can you set up a dropbox for me or upload it yo mine if there is no easier way please?
Thanks,
JAR
