Thanks Pzjager for your time creating these mods for all of us. SDK is an incredible piece of work and I have been eagerly waiting for SOC.

Thanks again!

From I'm hearing - the AI for some mods are better than others?

In other words, not all AI's are created equal?

Awelon - thanks for the reply.

Yes, I do play for 15 min and the AI on hero setting. Doesn't that just increase resources?

I'm in process of downloading Bloody Omaha because I noticed it had a Vetmod - I haven't seen one for Utah Sector - maybe I missed it?

Been playing Utah against the AI. Absolutely love the game and the maps, but the AI seems weak and not very aggressive. I've noticed this with many CC5 mods. I usually play as a "recruit" so that I get fewer resources, but is something else I can do to change things? Or is the AI more aggressive in some mods than others?

Thanks.

I followed the advice to re-look at problems with downloaded maps. WinRAR identified each map that was corrupted in the MapPak I downloaded. Not sure if it was my computer or not that corrupted the files, but when I downloaded 4-5 maps individually, all my problems were solved. So far....

Thanks for the help!

Thanks for earlier tips, WinRAR works great. New problem, though.

After playing Utah for several days, an error message pops up right before battle and stops the game. The error says "Unable to continue play because the disk is full. Clear some space onthis drive and resume Close Combat." I checked my hard drive and I have 10 gigs empty. Any ideas?

Thanks.

I cleared cache and downloaded WinRAR. Unfortunately, I'm still struggling. I re-downloaded GungHo and Win RAR said the file is corrupted. Is there something else I should try?

Mooxe and Searry,

Thanks for the replies / ideas.

Not sure on which program I'm using to extract files from zips. Not sure how to check - I assume it is the Windows XP default program.

Would like to try to clear cache - but don't know how.

Hey all -

Need a little help. I continue to have problems once I download a zipped file. I begin the extraction of the zip file and I get a window that pops up labeled "Compressed (zipped) Folders Error" - then inside the window the error message reads "Error Reading File".

This has happed to me while trying to unzip the map packs for Utah Sector, GJS and the mod GungHo. I've tried re-downloading the zip files and I get the same message. I'm starting to think I have a setting wrong. Any thoughts to help? Rolling Eyes

Love the website!!
