Just got back to a wealth of mods after a pause of 2 years with cc.
D/L some real cool mods, but instead of pln i got zip files.
Did some diggin in the forum, and found out that pln file is zip file renamed.
How to rename zip file (told ya it was stupid) What I did was right clic the zip, went down the column and added .zip after file name (El Alamein v1.0 renamed El Alamein v1.0.zip)
That did not work, zip format remains.
Obviously, as the files WERE pln D/L in the first place, only turning zip to pln format change nessesary....
Any clues welcome, but be gentle and keep it simple for this guy....
Still trying to reinvent the wheel...
And did it! I looked at the (originally pln)file, and opened it with WinRar.
Then in this format, I had finger trouble with the mouse and inadvertendly clicked SOMETHING...And there reemerged winterwar as an PLN!
I is driving me BONKERS because I do not know how I did it....
