Forget words, actions will show your true ambitions! The Battlefield,In many cases, the terrain of a battlefield can be the best resource a commander has. A clump of trees, an abandoned house, or a drainage ditch can all be powerful tools in the right hands

He made the map bigger.

The parachutes you added seem to be out of place.

I like it

Only seems natural that the Germans would block a few points of entry once things got bad for them.

The sandbag pill box.....
If it was for a MG I dont think it would be that big
If it was for a PAK 40 I think it would be more sloped with the visual that more than one bag was present

I must say the extention is muth usefull and will give the map better game play, the extention is of such quality, that I cant tell Atomics work from L4W, cant be better than that.

Thanx for let me in on gametested it,

Vierville is my favourite map in Utah

Finaly one can have 2 possible aproshes as the right/north path was to narrow and dead end before. This is far more realistic game play, as the wider aria give a freedom of two flanking options.

Well Done,

Stalky!

nobody would put sandbags in a field as long as it is not an "entrenched" position

and entrenched positions were made to stop the enemy which they expected to advance in this region or to protect artillary positions, airfields, bunkers etc. from partisan attacks

but why would a normal field in the middle of normandy be so vital for the occupating force ?

see what i´m aiming at ?

yes i see
have u seen the map coding?
yes why would germans use anything to block the roads?
it might actually slow an allied advance down.
or cause them to approach with caution.
or use ammo on it.
sheesh sand bags deployed a map behind a beach.
where would they have got the sand from?
exiting german forces werent trained to delay an advance?
why did the allies land so much towing equipment?

these r even better questions.
i liked ur view on subject and how u explained.
maybe i should remove the beach obstacles, blocking some of the easy exits in the fields from the roadway system.

what do u think about CC5 engine being able to deploy a gun pit?
as it is an entrenchment gun pit? no sandbags.
sorry ill stop there or i will go on for hours.

no hard feelings dude but seriously

about your beachpart, it´s called Atlantikwall , they knew the allies would come sooner or later and they fortified the beaches at the channelcoast

but your sandbags are a bit misplaced (edge of a map, the only ones around)

the sandbags don´t block the road, they just "block" the entrance to a field

i have something against improvment of maps

it might be nice with playability
