Hi there,

need help by this Error .

the Game runs 2 Minutes then comes the error. DirectX is 9.0c

I hope some one can help me..

Looks like you need to disable your directx program.

Got to your run program and run > dxdiag
click on the display tab
click the disable buttons.

Hopefully that fixes the problem for you.

I found a new fix!

This error only occurs on Nvidia graphics cards. ATI cards don't seem to encounter it. Tested this with all of my cards I have here at home.

Nvidia users can fix it (at least it didn't occur anymore) by installing the latest drivers 81.95 from nvidia.

This should get you rid of disabling DDraw every time you want to play a session of CC5.

Came across this problem just recently. Unable to update drivers as I have
downloaded a specific set in order to be able to play another game. Will try
this disabling of Direct3D functions as soon as possible.

[Would suggest that this is stickied though. Seems a common problem even
outwith the older game versions.]
