I challenged the armies of Pzt_Verboten(Maj) to a 3 day duel for control of Montebourg.
A 6 battle contest for the conquest of Montebourg.

The first day and a half went well for my german forces.
Holding a strong defense against the deeper reserve of allied armor while penetrating the enemy line
for control of strongpoints. Holding the high ground and moving well.
Setting up for a strong offensive in day 2 to get the allied forces well off balance.
My forces confindent of their success going into the second day of fighting.

Day 2, morning.
The south field blew up.
Both sides stacked for offensive maneuvers in the southwest battle for control of the farm and west Monte.
Allies pushing towards town. German Stug and ATG trade blows with allied tanks.
Mortars fall by the dozens. pak40 getting a kill before being destroyed.
My Stug immobilized by 105 fire, but survives to cover the field and holding the line to the finish.

With 3 battles remaining the allies hold a 1 point advantage in Montebourg.

Nicely done. The upperhand on this map rests with the player who controls the most houses.

DAY 3

Into the final day of fighting with Verbotens allies holding a minor victory.

My assaults to gain inches of lost ground were met with like force and more lost ground, a trigger happy allied pyro team with strong support.

Last fight. Deploying all I could for a strong assault against verbs allied armor BG:

Germans forward ground to secure vital strongpoints.
Final:

Excellent fighting Verboten!
