i have been having problems with reinstalling cc5 lately
i had all the mods and things were getting messed up so i completely deleted everything and cleared the registry entries for cc5 and reinstalled
now no matter what i try when i install to the default cc5 directory , i get an error with cc5.icd and the game wont start
when i install to a different directory it works fine
im thinking i t might be something in the registry that i missed
if i cant solve this is there a way i can install the mods without using the default dir ?
but either way i would appreciate any help with this i am missing my favorite game alot

Forget words, actions will show your true ambitions! The Battlefield,In many cases, the terrain of a battlefield can be the best resource a commander has. A clump of trees, an abandoned house, or a drainage ditch can all be powerful tools in the right hands

Love to know how you fixed it - I have exactly the same problem - cc5.icd crashes if you install to the default drive but works ok if installed elsewhere....
If you want to install mods that require the whole plugin dealio you can just unzip all the plugins and manually install the files. A bit more labour intensive but still works. Did for me, mostly.
