When playing cc IV I'm getting the following message: "Close Combat Error: Informs DirectDraw that the previous Blt is transfering information to or from this surface is incomplete." And it then exits the game. This is pissing me of and I would be eternally greatfull to the person/s that helps me solve this problem. Just installed VetBoB's mods and loves them, but don't get much joy when the game keep crashing all the time.

I have tried solving the problem my self, but due to limited computering skills I've had no sucess...

Problem solved. Good show.

Ain't much of a rpely, but in my experience this has been a bug in CC itself, not just in mods. I have also found that a more modern PC encountered the problem less frequently. Are you running this on an elderly machine?

Turn off your DirectDraw (gfx card)

goto "run" in start menu, type "dxdiag", then go to "display" and disable your directdraw acceleration.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
