You can open a pln file by reanaming the extension to .zip and then open it with Winzip or similar program. There is a program called IMake that you can find in the downloads section.......that makes the job of building plugins from scratch a lot easier. You can edit the install and uninstal files with Notepad or similar text editor. Be sure to backup your game files before testing your plugin.......otherwise, if you have made an error the plugin may not uninstall correctly and you will need to reinstall your game. Remember that by convention Uninstal is spelled with only one "l"
Also, have a peak into the innards of some other plugins to see how they are put together........not rocket science but they take a bit of practice.
