Hi,
I just double checked and I can tell you that the index.mpi file is well in the plugin!!!
I will try to install SDK on my PC through the .pln file I will download from the server (downloading MY mod!!!) and let you know.
If it works for me, I would recommend you to desisnstall/reinstall ypour plugin manager. I know that this kind of errors can appear after a lot of changes in your Plugin Manager
Cheers
PJ
P.S. DID SOMEONE ELSE FACE THIS ISSUE?????? |

Hi,
I downloaded the pln file some minutes ago from the server and installed it on my CC5 WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM.
All the beta testers and a lot of CC players have so far installed the mod without problem as well.
I know by experience that a lot of errors can arise with the plugin manager (and it is NOT the fault of this program: it is the fault of some plugins which were not well made and created afterwards some file conflicts within the game).
I CAN JUST RECOMMEND YOU TO DESINSTALL EVERYTHING (CC5 and Plugin manager) and reinstall everything.
IT WILL WORK.
PLease let me know
Cheers

The plugin manager does sometimes have a problem unzipping all the files. If you rename the .pln to .zip you can open it up in Winzip (or another zip compatible program) to see how many files are there and then check the \CC5 Configuation Manager\System\Packages\DerKessel\ directory to see that ALL the files are there.... If not extract the files into the directory yourself. |

You are right.
However; in this case, I personaly doubledchecked this evening and I can tell you that all the files are in the plug-in.
To be even more comfortable, I desinstalled CC5 and the plugin manager, and reinstalled everything. It works without any problem!
The only way I see to resolve the issue is to do what I did. Install/reinstall everything....
ONE THING IMPORTANT: install the maps BEFORE the plugin.
Cheers

Did you well installed the maps BEFORE the plugin?
If no, do it.
If yes, Install/reinstall the game and the plugin: it works!
You have a file conflict somewhere, surely coming from an old plugin

Do you guys use Download Managers to d/l the files? Or do you just d/l directly from your browsers? Download Managers will usually tell you if there was an error in the download...or if the zip file was trunctuated during d/l. |

Download managers really mess with this site to. When the site slows to a crawl, its normally a horde of people using them all at the same time. Reason for this is they make multiple, multiple, multiple connections to the site, thereby stealing away connection opportunities for everyone else.
They are bad! Stop using them! |

Well maybe I should have said use download managers, but don't hog the server and make lots of multiple connections (the default usually is just 2 split connections). Use download managers...but don't use the 'evil' download accelerators! |
