Okinawa mod has always been a problem child. Originally made without a plugin it was a manual install only, the plugin was made after by someone else. Then there was the ebay incident! :no1
There have been reports of faulty maps for years now, I assumed they were fixed by someone when the plugin was made. Even the old website is now gone. - http://www.wargamer.com/Hosted/CloseCombatOkinawa/main.htm

Antony, why dont you try to research plugin writing and find the problem? They aren't too difficult and there are lots of people who will help you if you give it a try

ps I loked the mod, untill it crashed Rolling Eyes

Hey thx ppl but dw. I got the mod working.
I think its a really good mod. It shows realisticly how hard the terain was for the emericans to walk over. And how the japs hid in small caves and rocks but still under HUGE fire power. The think the mod its self is one of the best mods there.
And its nothing like any other mod.

Yup, I purchased a copy on eBay... a long while ago, now. It worked well then and it works very well now. I recently d/l the version 1.02 from CSO with the mod named maps pack. I installed by hand (as I always do) and it worked first time out.

Great mod with some really terrifying battles against the AI.
