This mod crashes on some maps (for example Reichstag, Charlottenburg) during the loading phase when I start a single battle. It always happens on these maps and there is no error message etc, it just takes me back to the desktop.
Everything else works fine, so it seems as if it was installed correctly.
Do you have an idea what I might do wrong?
PS: This mod is a great piece of work! Thank you for making it!
This is an old CC5 problem. Now the problem is solved by the great man Tesjd from Canada. It has to do with the Data file, reading wrecks for the single battles.
If there ever will be a Berlin version 2, this will be fixed among a lot of other things.
It is not the maps...open the scenario editor and make a operation with two maps (include on off them you have problems with) and play!
The reason for single battle crashes is that the game reads wrecks from the vehicles file. The modified vehicles file must have a wreck on the same line as the orginal CC5 vehicles file. This has been solved AFTER the release of Berlin mod. Same is with the multiplayer crash, wrong CCRescource file was used for the mod and not the one from the 5.01 patch. It is my misstake but i didnt know all this att the time of the mod production sorry!
