Haha, nice one desertmouse.

You know you're loosing when you walk away from the computer mid-battle to see if there is any beer left in the fridge.

Either that or you head to the garage to smoke hoping the game will be over when you get back.

One time I had one guy left and my opponent was looking for him & asking where he was.
I had no choice but to tell him.......

A knife is better than a half brick.

Was he wounded?

You know you're losing when all your men are out of ammo and you turn to your last resort which is to lead them into a "glorious and heroic" charge to cut down the enemy with their bayonets.

...Unfortunately, halfway through your men get suppressed, drop to the dirt, and die.

You know you're losing when your enemy has several tanks and your only AT gun is destroyed a few seconds into the game.

you know you're loosing when...

Whatever remains of your troops are set to ambush in the thickest woods you can find and the only thing that matters to you any longer is the counter stepping down towards zero

(of course that's never happened to me) Shocked

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
